I was annoyed with the cheek of Souness and thought Hoddle could have done better to defend our position he did sort of highlight the financial difference and our focus in development of the new stadium and acquiring the training complex... in terms of squad purchase Hoddle knows full well how the club is run very much unconventionally in terms of recruitment it was much easier for Hoddle to say it was AVB that buys the player.

Yes Harry did a good job and I don't think any sane Spurs fan will say he never...but Souness forgot to mention the whole court case England and our complete down term in form from christmas season last under Harry where we should of finished 3rd. Losing Modric Van De Vaart King was big, add to that AVB was new Siggi Vets Dems etch it was going to be transition. I am amazed we have challenged thoughout the season in the EPL and Europa still in with a chance of CL it not over yet.

Souness is a bitter man, if he was any good he'd be managing a team now but he ain't and he sees a young man like AVB in charge at a club like Spurs and it pisses him off.
Not worth letting him get under your skin.

no need to take it personally. It's just Spurs role in the structure of the premier league. Football is sold and kept interesting by sackings and controversy. We do our job of providing newspapers with storys to keep the masses' footballing addiction placated.
We have been the ridicule/easy to unsettle club since I have been alive. Maybe that will change with UTD having a new manager that has probably the most impossible job in football to keep those fans and newspapers from his door.

Perhaps he is suffering from the same illness as Drew Barrymore in 50 first dates ?

Hoddle is also a dick of a pundit.

I haven't seen that movie but I watched Silver Linings Playbook yesterday.

I used to love it when Glenn was in the studio but something inside of me must have changed, man, because now I think he talks a lot of bollocks. Not as much bollocks as Graham Roberts, mind you, but a lot of bollocks nevertheless.

I can't stand Souness generally, a real bloody know all. Even feel his behaviour in a subtle sort of way to Jamie Redknapp is disrespectful a lot of the time. And the thing is I think Jamie talks more sense than he does.

AVB IS STILL MANAGER OF SPURS AND CAN ONLY BE JUDGED ON HOW WE PERFORM NEXT SEASON.
CHAVS DID NOT GIVE HIM A CHANCE, WHERE AS WE HAVE EMBRACED HIM AS ARE OWN.

ROLL ON 2013/14.
