Just reading another thread about where to drink, who's going etc at an away ground. These threads crop up from time to time and I reckon we should have a sticky that we can just open up that lists pubs, travel arrangements and so forth. Might be a shit idea I dunnoo but it could be a good way of just getting the info and how to avoid actually meeting anyone from this site...;).

Yay or nay?

A few of us went up to Sunderland last season, drank in a pub called The William Jameson, was a home fans pub but was full of spurs who were non-stop singing so was decent. From what I can remember was a short walk to the ground as well, although I was pretty battered by that point...Stayed in Newcastle after which we cabbed back for about £20.

Was probably one of my favourite away days last season, so a bit gutted I can't do it this year. Although just booked Istanbul for Besiktas away with about 30 others so can't complain too much :)

Haha we will be, a few of my old man's mates went out when we last played them (in 06?) and said there was no trouble at all. We'veall booked the same hotel and are planning on sticking together so we should be fine!

The EPL's 'Away Days' app lists the William Jamieson as an away fan friendly pub so looks like thats the place to go.

I'm not going to the game, but I know a fair few will be in there from 11am onwards on Sat!
