Amazing support.......Is it a coincidence that the team kept going till the end with support like that behind them?

Same again at Stoke.

It was great fun, we all sung everything. Shame we can't get that going at WHL any more unless it is a really big game.

You could see how much the players appreciated it at the end.

Let's have 90 minutes of insane noise at Stoke.

Long time ago but in 1970 we won there 2-0 in the belting rain. The side included Mullery Chivers etc. The Spurs fans were squeezed under the tiny old stand they had at the away end. Must say it was an absolutlely fantastic afternoon...the atmosphere was electric. Even the Chelsea fans used to make a good noise back then...Spurs played undersiege for most of the match only to sneak a late goal to seal it. Memorable!

I was just talking about that game on the way out of Stamford Bridge last night. First time i went there, getting soaked in the Shed end (where i was very quiet being 11 rather than on some sort of hooligan attack). Had to put all the clothes on the drier when we got home and even at an age where i though all refs were against us and all the other teams got luck and we didn't (bit like now really) i still thought we were lucky!

Trouble is i think that is the last time i saw us win there! Not been a regular visitor since- probably only seven times but still...

They always do us proud. Loved being an away fan myself, even if I only did it properly for one full season with several away days in seasons either side of it. Everything about the experience is more intense - not in a pwopa nawtee way.

I remember last season us all taking over the tube after, it was rocking. Such a good day. Win or loose, stamford bridge is always a laugh.

Agreed, there is nothing better than riding the tube with a load of us as Away fans.

I was at the 2010/11 game (the Mariner incident) and the ride home cheered me right up, especially negotiating Westminster station whilst blasting out a rendition of 'Ooh When The Spurs' with a load of new mates and some old ones too!

The away support this season has been fantastic and pretty funny, they don't seem to care about the score just about making noise... It's a shame the home fans are the complete opposite...
