He was incredible at the San Siro that season I remember, that was the kickstart of his career for us, there might have been players who had higher qualities but I don't think I've been as big a fan of a midfielder as Sandro since.

I still find it difficult to believe that we had such a great DM whose career was ruined by a knee injury, somehow managed to replace him with another outstanding DM (Wanyama), only for the replacement to promptly have his career ruined by a knee injury.

That's my definition of Spursy and I'm sticking to it...

I bumped into Sandro at the Spurs vs Frankfurt CL group game in October. A giant of a man and a very nice guy.
