I would suggest checking with the club or delay making your travel arrangements as long as you can. Things in Ukraine are very serious at the moment and currently the situation could get much worse. I can't possibly see any major sports events taking place here right now and there has been a lot of fighting today in Dnipropretovsk between police and protestors organised by the Dnipro ultras.

I know the game is still a month away so there is still a good chance it will go ahead, but best to be sure and wait before paying for travel or hotels.

I booked flights when draw was made. Today those flights are £150 more than I paid.
When we played in Donetsk a few years ago the date was changed after the draw was made.
Tottenham paid the extra costs for fans who had booked the original date.
So far the trouble seems to be concentrated in Kiev which is 300 miles from Dnepropetrovsk.
PS I have booked flights to Lisbon for next round.

There is trouble all over the west of Ukraine now and although Dnipropetrovsk is further east there has been trouble in the city there today.

Anyway it's just a heads up.

The US State Department has today issued a warning to all US citizens against travelling to and the potential dangers currently in Ukraine, as well as advising US citizens already in Ukraine to avoid certain areas and where necessary to stay indoors.

Fully expect something similar from the UK government in the next few days as the current situation isn't improving and is increasingly spreading to other towns and cities.

A number of events have already been cancelled and public places such as museums etc are closing until further notice.

If the worse should happen it's a big headache for UEFA as there are 4 Ukrainian teams in the last 32.

If the worst comes to the worst, UEFA will surely move the games onto a neutral ground, away from the disrupted and unsafe zones. The games will still go ahead under all circumstances.

This is Uefa we are talking about, that makes too much sense!

The game will go ahead with even more police!!

Ukraine is now under the threat of 'Martial Law' with trouble spreading across all regions including the east of the country.

There have been further outbreaks of fighting and protests in the city of Dnipropetrovsk where we are obviously due to play. The fighting there has been between protestors and the police and also protestors and 'Titushki'.

At the moment it's not looking great for the game.
