Bale funky skills

Hey All

Gareth Bale did some funky roulette against pompey in the semi and repeated it against chelsea, i think.

I remembered it when I was watching a YouTube compilation of crazy skills in the last few weeks, but Bale's funky skills weren't there

The one vs pompey was when he was attacking down the left and i think he crossed the ball as a result. The one vs chelscum was around the halfway line and he took it away from two chelsea players to lay it back to benny


Anyone remember? Anyone have any clips?

I thought it was quite some skills on both occasions yet, no-one seems to have commented on it after the games (as usual) on the BBC or on ITV's coverage of the games.

I'm sure if Steven Gerrard or Ronaldo had done it, they'd be raving it about it continuously, but it seems Bale's awesomeness on these occasions have gone under the radar...

He played better against pompey than he did against Arsenal and Chelsea IMO. Would love to see a comp from that game. He played LB aswell. Which reminds me, I think walker should play RB at home to bolton and then at Burnley. He will attack, which is what we need.

I think the one against Pompey was just before the cross for Crouch's 'goal', so if you can find a clip of that it should be in there...
