... except a right foot

:) and my Family Guy boxer shorts, gotta love that show!

As for Bale in CM, at the moment he is playing too well on the wings to be considered there, yet. Maybe he will turn out to be a good CM but with the likely signing of Sandro aswell as already having WP, TH and LM I dont think we will ever see it im afraid.

As you know I've been saying play Bale at LW since last year and I think he do well in any outfield position. But it's his pace and driblling ability that really set him apart whilst his range of passing is not top draw (though not bad) so has to be LW

Did anyone see his run from just outside our box left of centre to just outside their box right of centre on Saturday? whatever happened and however he was allowed to do it doesn't really matter the point is that he did not instinctively just run out wide left, he ran through the middle.

I refer fellow posters to a number of my earlier posts about him migrating to the middle, that will come in time but he is doing fine on the left for now.

I'm not saying that this is the only reason for that run but the fact that the Fulham players might expect him to work his way out to the left helped him to fool them as he ran through.

For me the run proved that he is talented, rather than he is more suited to playing in the middle...

Im sure he has played CM for Wales in a game.

He got moved there during one of their games, think he was asked to play behind a lone striker... could be wrong on that part though.

But he was fantastic there, everything went through him. Was a threat every time he had the ball.

He has indeed and he was amazing

Possibly in the future. For now he needs to continue on the left.

I think we have better candidates for that role anyway (Modric, Kranjcar, Kaboul). I'm more interested in how Modric is doing in the middle. He has really impressed me in there so far, and he could well make a permanent home in the middle for us. I think that would be perfect because i would love to see Lennon and Kranjcar in the same midfield as Modric and Palacios.

Lennon----Palacios----Modric----Kranjcar

How mouthwatering is that? It may look a bit attack minded, but boy do those 4 work hard.

thats my FIFA 10 mid-field

On the point of Bale being a CM, it makes me sad as he is a LB, a position in which there are very few great players in world football, yet half of this forum want to move him to positions in which we are both strong and able to buy players for

Well for starters it's not as mouthwatering (if that's the right word) as Bale instead of Kranky on the LW for starters :)

That about sums it up for me Adam' he is so talented he'll do the business in a range of positions.

So are we now saying we need a team of Gareth Bales? Oh well, Keano. The king is dead, long live the king.

at this stage in his career, he needs to focus on one position to develop .. he also very talented player, so there are no need to switch his position with less freedom.
