I'm gutted about this. My mate, who's high up at the Welsh FA, was going to get me a Gareth Bale autographed Wales shirt! (plus I was gonna slip him one of my Spurs shirts to get him to sign that too)

Now he won't be there! GUTTING!

As long as Bale is there for the qualifiers I don't see it as a problem.

What I don't want is a 22/23/24 year old burned out Bale!

There's a reason Giggs is still playing aged 35 (or whatever he is now)

Poor Dab! Surely he could do the same for you in a usbsequent game, though:shrug:

He was puffing his cheeks a bit on Sunday...I think it is just his style, and hopefully he can keep it going for a long and successful career.

He looked shagged out yesterday.

Give him a nice long rest, then back in August to tear shreds out of the unfortunate right back who unluckily gets drawn against us in the Pre-Lims!

Yeah, he will no doubt do it for me in the qualifiers in September! I was just looking forward to getting them framed and up on the walls somewhere in my house!

Hopefully Harry (and Tosh) will look after him for his long term future. I'm 110% certain they will.

Restful summer ahead (as he will for the rest of his career... Wales qualifying for something? I doubt it!) and he'll be back for pre-season training ready for more of the same!

God help right backs next season! Though I guess they will see him coming this season and may double up on him. Although teams will want to double up on Lennon too! They can't double up on everyone, can they?! That's the exciting thing for our immediate future, options with pace down the right and left, should see us terrifying full backs up and down the country!

United can, they have special 'DOuble-Uppers' runing along the touchline, ready to join in at need...kinda like in Tag Wrestling, but no-one leaves the field.

The Refs would complain but it would upset Red Nose:wink:
