Tomorrow Falque and Townsend have to start as the better performing should get the starting spot

Great to hear, against Everton it wouldn't suprise me if we saw a front 4 of:

Lennon - Sig - Dempsey
Defoe

So the assist from Dempsey and Siggy in the last game won't have an influence?

Good news (though not that unexpected as they said 1-2 weeks out)

'Punishments' aside, we should almost certainly see Adebayor start against Everton. Hard to drop Defoe I know but if you have to this is one of the games. I would like to see this as I think Sig will offer the discipline to cover Verts:

Adebayor
Sig Dempsey Lennon
Sandro Dembele
Vert Caulker Dawson Walker
Lloris

hopefully keep it tight, perhaps nick a goal and then bring on Defoe later to punish them on the break.
............but I think he'll probably go 442 and push Dempsey to LW

To be fair, with Sandro and Dembele you feel like you can win any midfield battle and therefore don't need to be as defensively minded up front

how do you know they are better performing? do you watch them in training? Falque has been hurt for a few weeks as seen in the youth team thread, and from what it looks like Townsend hasn't looked so good in training lately if he can't get a spot in the match day squad. Compared to Dempsey/Siggy who are starting to find their legs and both got assists last game.

I hope to see Ade in place of Bale with Dempsey right and possibly Lennon on the left.

Even if he heals quick, I'd like to rest him for another game if we manage to beat Everton.

I am pretty sure we will see Dempsey on the left as AVB said he was very effective there for Fulham, and Ade with Defoe

Whilst agree they played well there in the last 20mins of the last match but in other matches both players look terrible when on the wing

I meant give both players a chance in that match and if one of them puts in a performance they should start on Sunday, yes they have been hurt by why keep them if you are never going to give them a chance and yes I know Falque is injured and how do you know Townsend is been shit in training, he is winger unlike the other two and the fact he didnt make the bench is probably because we have more established first team players, Huddlestone didnt make the bench either for fulham

Yes they played well on sunday but their other performances on the wing from sig, it is clear he isnt a winger, they have looked good cutting inside but fulham's CM is struggling and allowed both players to attack the fullbacks everton CM and CB's are much better

Though upon reflection with us playing Everton(i forgot) I would start Dempsey and if its not working bring on the better of the two players

AVB just said on the OS that Bale might hopefully make it to the Stoke game.

“We have to be a little more cautious with Gareth and wait and see, but hopefully he’s not that bad. We might see him available for the Stoke game.”

I'd like to see him tried there. He seems to work better in a wide role when it's as a part of a 442 though. Couldn't definitively say why that is but it's disappointing that he doesn't seem to be anywhere near as adaptable as I had previously thought.

Ideally I'd like to see a youngster given a go but that won't happen. Personally I've quite liked the look of Gylfi in that left attacking role from the very brief glimpses that we've seen of him there so I'd have him and Dempsey alternate on the night.

I thought he was going to be back for the Swansea game, only missing the one League game?

hmm... the Times are reporting, this morning, that it was close to a grade two tear and we won't risk him against Stoke, physical opponents etc, and he'll not play until boxing day away to Villa.

Shit one - thought he would of been back for Swansea.
