So based on form this season and importance to our results would you rather that Bale was still with us or that we have now wisely invested some of the funds in Eriksen.

Obvious answer is we'd like both but that's not an option!

Bale.

No question

If you polled Eriksen against Modric I think it would be closer but I think Modric would still win.

Both :-( oh, what could have been. We could have easily signed Eriksen and Chadli that summer with the outgoings aside from Bale which could have given us a front four this season of Chadli, Eriksen, Bale; Kane

Seriously, those four would get us close to the title regardless of who we have in the other 7 positions.

Bale.

Because he has more strings to his bow. Pace, power, skill and and end product. A rare combination.

Eriksen is a super player and I'm so pleased that we have him. But he's not the kind of player, like Bale, who makes fans stand up whenever he gets the ball. At least not to anything like the same extent.

Bale, for Spurs, was outrageously good.

Bale is one of the best players in the world. Eriksen could go on to be one of the best players in the world.

That answers the question for me.

Are you serious?

Eriksen is magnificent and will be world-class and will probably play for one of the big two teams in Spain.

But Bale's something else. He is world-class and someone who has the potential to be THE BEST player on the planet.

Easy answer. Bale all the way.

Like comparing chalk with cheese. Both have different uses.
Bale world class, Eriksen very good but not yet world class and a different type of player. agree with previous poster much easier to compare him to Modric.

lulz, this is gonna be pretty one sided.

There's not many players in the World I'd rather have than Bale and none of them play for the current Spurs side! Not even Hugo!

40 to 1 so far!

Bale is a once in a generation type.
