Despite all the abuse hughy is getting, it still went down better than my attempt this morning. I told my 4 yr old son that I wasn't his real dad. He started crying and I said 'April Fools' before realising he's 4 and hasn't got a clue what that means. Big bucket of Haribo stopped the tears.

On a funnier note, an ex colleague of mine did the same joke on his little girl about 15 years ago and around 6 months later he found out the kid genuinely wasn't his. Bastard karma.
