Quick, someone, kidnap Joey Barton. We'll put a blanket over his head, sneak him into the Stretford End and then whip the blaneket off...they'll just have to buy him then :giggle:

p.s. Even if Bale is dreaming of a move to United, even if he has always done so, even if he is motivated solely by money and knows/believes he will get most there, even if he believes that is the only place for him to fulfill his ambitions and win trophies, there is another factor in the equation - Daniel Levy. Our Dan was seriously pissed orf over Berbatov-gate, make no mistake about that - and something tells me he won't be forgetting it too easily. Last Summer, when all the World could see that Modric was the player that United needed, he said that he would like to bid for him but he knew their bid would not be welcomed by Levy (or words to that effect). Just as with Chelsea/Modric, if Bale kicked up (and I don't think he would), he would want to refuse to sell, force him to stay for a year and then sell abroad - and I believe that would be the most likely outcome.

p.p.s. Isn't it funny that they didn't make such a big thing about it as though he was angling for a move to Newcaslte, when he went up there for the Bobby Robson memorial :stinkyfeet:

Is the only motivating factor for all people on the planet always...

who cares really. It will be the same every season till he leaves, then it will be Lloris, then whoever else who is excelling every game and looking world class will be linked away.

It will never stop until we start winning things

Must be weird for Ronaldo only remembering Bale as that crap defender when he was in the Premiership..lol

I know many disagreed with my post about taking Rooney and Young for Bale, but the way I see it, if Bale was going, I'd take Young and Rooney as his replacements, all day long.

I wasn't meaning that's what we should do, jsut referring to the original post, saying that young, rooney, nani all leaving!

If Rooney was playing at the level of previous seasons he would be in the team I would imagine, and it wouldn't compromise the tactics as such. He did play out in Madrid though.

Tactically perhaps, but the point for me is if Rooney's overall form was high at the moment he would of been picked to start. Nani who has been out of favour for most of the season was the surprise inclusion in that line up last night.

This, this and bucket loads of this.
I think the days of us selling our top players to prem teams has now passed....and after the fryers saga in January,I can't see us dealing with baconface at all.
they simply don't have the money required to purchase bale, only city, chelshit, barca, real,PSG and maybe a couple of Russian clubs can afford to.
After you rule out the prem teams, and the Russian clubs,it only leaves barca, real, and PSG....with real being the favourite.i can see Ronaldo wanting out of Madrid soon, and I can see fergie selling Rooney to help fund a bid for him.
Real know that levy isn't a mug,and it would take a ridiculous offer to get bale this summer, everyone's for sale for the right amount...he ll go eventually, but not this year.

Maybe he was window shopping........He did nothing wrong and the press can do one.

We keep improving the rate we are... Bale going nowhere.

He was scouting for a striking partner for Spurs. Levy and AVB have given him carte blanche. Whoever he likes, Levy'll sign in the summer.

On his twitter the other day he said he was starting a new league on Fifa playing as Darlington for 'a bit of a challenge'. Thats him gone then. Just hope Levy can get a decent price for him so we can get a replacement. I RECON IT WILL BE WILLIAM.

Well the first part was an exaggeration on how stupid the article was based purely on the fact he was at Giggs 1000th game 'celebration', the second part was an in joke for those of us who had to put up with all the 'i recon we'll sign Willian' shit over the transfer window......and then he move for £32m (y)

If I go to Old Trafford to watch one of their game, will I be considered as one of United's target ?
