Bale at his best is unplayable like all those top players out there, he along with Ronaldo, Messi, Suarez etc are just a level above.

Pure class, still kills me we only saw one real season of him ripping up defenses.

Very differnt players but with Bale in our side we would have won the league last year and probably this as well.

Bale used to single-handedly win points for us, put him in this current team and we'd actually have some pace in attack, and would have a real crack at winning the league.

But Alli is only 20, he could go on to become world class as Bale did.

When Bale was 20 I doubt anyone expected what was to become of him, when Alli is 27 he could be anything (hopefully still at Spurs, stepping onto the podium with Kane, Poch and co accepting the PL trophy)

No but Alli has gelled with this group, would Bale as he is now, fit into the team? As a player yes obviously you would pick Bale but could he slot in? It's like saying Kane or Greaves?

Ali because i think him and kane work well and as good as bale is, kane is a 30 goal a season striker. I dont think he'd be as effective with bale, so really in a roundabout way im chosing kane over bale

Bale has something you cannot teach, pace. He's probably one of the fastest players in the world but also has the technique too; Alli is a good player but his game is not based on the physical rather on intelligence.

Bale everything, he was born to play for Spurs.

I love both, and they're different players, but Bale is a pure entertainer like Ginola, Hoddle, Gazza, Waddle and that's what I've been brought up on.

That's not to say Alli isn't entertaining, he is and he's going to be a great, but he won't get bums off seats in quite the same way.

Better comparison for me would be Kane v Bale as Kane .
