I feel soo sorry for him now this season is getting from bad to worse for him now he's playing for the researves i just don't think he should be treated like that because imo he's better than that.

Bale's form this season has been awful .A few reserve games could be just what he needs to regain some confidance and form.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. O'Hara is also playing tonight, does that mean he is not being treated kindly?

They are young and very good prospects for the future. This will give them confidence not vice versa mate, as they will be out there as the leaders of the team and it will help them to grow mentally.

reserves is perfect for him - no pressure, it'll be like more intense training so it could help him practice and regain some confidence

Nothing wrong with unused players playing reserve games. It keeps them at match fitness and help give them more experience.

Good to see Giovani playing too.

Shame we can't watch it online really.

Bale's form has been poor, whereas BAE has proven to be a very decent LB, and Modric has been good on the LW. He is not being treated unfairly, he just isn't performing as well as others that are vying for the same position.

I still think Bale has alot of potential, im just not sure whether he will be fighting for the LB spot or perhaps the LW one. But i think he still has a future at the club.

Being second to BAE isn't a bad thing either. Bale is young. BAE has 5 years over Bale.

HALF-TIME: SPURS 0, FULHAM 2

41.18: GOAL - FULHAM. Barnes curled free-kick from 20 yards out, central, into the very top left corner.
Spurs 0, Fulham 2

33.15: GOAL - FULHAM. Gunter's headed back-pass to Alnwick fell slightly short allowing Nevland to nip in before Alnwick, the pair collided and Alnwick was penalised. No red card as Rocha cleared off the line. Brown stepped up to slot home penalty.
Spurs 0, Fulham 1

Spurs: Alnwick, Gunter, Bale, Livermore, Rocha, Caulker, Giovani, O'Hara, Campbell, Taarabt, Townsend. Subs: L Butcher, Rose, Berchiche, Mason, Obika.
Fulham: Foderingham, Stoor, Kallio, Watts, Smalling, Saunders, Gera, Brown, Nevland, Barnes, Gray. Subs: Bettinelli, Briggs, Marsh-Brown, Harris, Uwezu.

why shouldn't he play for the reserves - he's not going to get much first team action for the rest of the season -

it's quite clear HR will start various people in front of him at LB and LM

Hate to use them as an example but Woolwich have great prospects in Vela and Ramsey that are regularly in their reserves. Bale will know he has to improve his game defensively and the odd game in the reserves will help him do that rather than being thrown in the EPL or just getting 10 mins here and there off the bench. We all saw what he is capable of at Southampton and the start of last season, the talent is definately there but if he wants to be a top LB he has to get the defensive side of his game sorted, and at 19 he has plenty of time

Redknapp already doubted Modric physically to adapt the league or playing CM in EPL, he needed early BAE red card just to know he is strong enough. not everything he is doing right, Ramos was better to judge players including those onces not given T-shirt No. and selling Chimbonda etc.., the difference between both tactics and EPL knowledge.

86.11: CLOSE - SPURS. Campbell worked an opening for O'Hara, whose low shot is deflected just wide.

68.11: WOODWORK - FULHAM. Nevland's 30-yarder dipped over Alnwick before clipping the top of the crossbar.
7.57pm: Second half kicks-off
