Bale's not allowed to have friends then.

Such a dumb comment. So many people saying it on Twitter. It's nothing to do with that, anybody saying that is trying to appear level-headed. He's a twat for tweeting it, if they were his friends - text them, no need to publicly wish your ex club's fierce rivals luck in a cup final, especially when there was nothing when we were in the final.

It's a **** move.

So no "good luck Spurs" in the League Cup final but a big shout out and well wishes to Arsenal mates in today's FA Cup final? Does he not have any "friends" at Spurs?

It's just not right.

To be fair, he did say in a recent Telegraph interview that he wants "Spurs to win and Arsenal to lose".

Anyways, I'm getting over Bale now because of the rise of Kane.

It's well known that walcotts one of his best mates & Ramsey's a fellow Welshman isn't he? (so probably a good mate too)

Number of flying fucks I give? Zero.

The reaction to this on Twitter & FB has made fools of us, not bales tweet

Pretty provocative from Bale.

I'm not too fussed but it's definitely a lack of respect to the club he spent six years with.

I don't have Sky so rarely see him play. Where does he play primarily for Madrid...on the left or the right? I seem to recall that he was being stationed on the right a lot when he first went to Madrid.

I can't understand why Bale developed such low confidence. Well I can in the sense that the Madrid fans have been ridiculously poor in terms of support, but after scoring in the CL final for them he should of been set/made for them - no looking back etc.

Most players won't come close to scoring in a CL final, so it really is bewildering why he looks a shadow of himself now.

Its all a bit bizarre.
It changed because Ronaldo this season couldnt run, so they had to change to 442.

They have no DM so they need the four to sit deeper and need to offer more protection to the defence.

They also brought an AM(rodriguez) to replace di Maria and he plays the AM/LW role. Now since Ronaldo plays LW/ST, Benzema is forced to go more right wards and is an inside forward. This means that Bale is no longer a RW and been demoted to playing RM and in matches he has been playing deeper than Rodriguez.
He's gone from being the big fish in a small pond to being one of many big fish.
Madrid is a club full of egos and Ronaldo has long been the centre of attention.
Ronaldo's issue is Bradley Cooper banging away at the mother of his child....
She's not the mother of his child
It was Bale's choice to go to Madrid. He was the one who refused to do anything Spurs in his last few days and made it clear to Levy he wanted out.

He got his move, he is now the most expensive player in the world and he is now a Champions League winner.

He was never gonna oust Ronaldo and whilst Ronaldo is still determined to win everything all Bale has done is grown shitty hair.

You don't need to be able to speak Spanish to kick a ball.
I disagree, Neymar has nailed the right spot and Messi is best on the left. Also Bale's best seasons have been on the right and in the middle.

Also they needed a striker and Suarez was essentially their first striker since Ibrahimovic.

On the right still primarily but will switch throughout the match, sometimes going to the left or central.
