My table. I had us in 6th, but also with 29 points like a lot of others (although I would take 24 or 25). Seems I just had teams taking points off each other.

What struck me was how tough Villa's fixtures are. They have a horrible spell coming up. Oh and I don't see many winnable games for Newcastle either. Hybrid must have had them winning almost every game!!

I had us 12th, think that is realistic. We will lose to united and probably newcastle and west ham

If we maintain the average of 2.5 PPG from our first four games under 'arry for the rest of the season we finish somewhere in the top four with 77 points. Yum-yum. I like.

A marginally more realistic 2 PPG will net us 64 points and a near-certainty of UEFA Cup football via the league next season (not that we'll need it as I'm totally confident of a 2-1 win over Milan in Istanbul).

The best any Spurs manager has ever done is 1.69 PPG (Pleat and Shreeves in their first spells). Temporarily donning my Just Moderately Optimistic Hat, I'll go for us edging that with 1.7 PPG, and getting about 56 points.

Should we get 10 points or more from our next five games and then see off the MU Rowdies a hat change will be forthcoming.

I have us 6th n 56 points Chelsea winning the league on goal difference to utd.
West brom, stoke and sunderland going down with Hull 4th from bottom. Vila 5th but 6 points more than us.
I also think we will get to a final of some sort( league cup probably).

I did it and we were 7th on 27 points at new year. What a strange league it is this year.

I still maintain that a top half finish is what we should aim for and try to retain the Carling Cup.

I did it right to the end of the season.....

top six looks like this

1. Chelsea 90pts
2.Manchester United 85pts
3.Arsenal 81pts
4.Liverpool 80pts
5.Tottenham Hotspur 67pts
6.Manchester City 62pts

I have no idea what I did! I dunno I just feel that got a bit of bite with Barton and Guthrie (LOL) and the forwards are decent. I dunno, my fantasy footbal team for 26points this week so shws what I know!

My opinions:

- I think Villa are gonna have a bad run now (they are overdue, they are no way better than any other of the clutch of sides battling around the midtable, good first XI, piss poor squad depth).
- Pompy will flop under Adams, but good enough at home be mid table
- Blackburn without Santa Cruz look no threat whatsoever to anyone!
- Fulham will do ok against sides at home, who play football (Arsenal, West Brom) but physically their midfield is rubbish.
- West Ham seem tactically clueless under Zola
- Something is wrong at City, papers have attacked Newcastle, Us, then Arsenal, now its there turn. Hughes could get the sack by Xmas.
- Everton are hitting some stride now...

I think we can still finish top 6, our only tough home game between now and xmas is United. Away games are very winnable too.

I think have faith we will get into the top 10, I hope Harry buys hardly anyone in January because keeping a settled squad is VERY important. Just think be careful, we've had a good run, a bad one will be due soon.
