I love and am proud of our chairman for turning this club around with his vision and determination. There is no other chairman that I know of that has a cult hero status anyehere in world sports.

My and I'm sure everyone here annoyment is that his briskmanship (I understand why does it tho) leaving it to 11.59 on transfer deadline to secure signings has seen us losing out CL football for couple so seasons.

My suggestion is, on our first high profile friendly at WHL this season, fans hold out a banner saying eg:

Daniel Levy,

We're proud and thank you for progress but can you please get our players in before the season starts this season. P.S. We love you.

Something like that, I'm sure someone can word it better so try out your messages and maybe we could do it..

Would certainly be nice to start the season strongly unlike the last few years. Problem is that the kind of players that will make the difference now generally will cost a lot so The difference between a good and a bad price could be £10m hence we might have to be patient again.

Alternatively, we could all chip together to hire a professional cheerleading troupe to communicate the demands and expectations of the good people at SC via the medium of song and dance. To begin with the cheerleaders could start with a simple 'two, four, six, eight, things we don't appreciate' before enumerating a list of all the things that we at SC don't appreciate (Dempsey, last minute signings and so on).

Asking Levy to resist his deadline day deals is like asking Grant Holt to stop eating all the pies. It can't be done.

I say let the man have his fix. Ideally we will wrap up our much needed striker early doors and then he can get us a winger and AMF on deadline day

Send him a fake letter from the premier league advising that the deadline day has been moved forward to 2 days before the season starts

I hope Mr Levy looks at the last 3 windows winter windows and sees how the lack of investment in a striker each time has lead us to narrowly miss out on CL football

I hope he then considers the amount of prize money we've missed out on as a result and how much exposure and brand development extensive CL football would have lead to which makes him wonder how much more he could have demanded for our kit sponsorship and stadium naming right deals which then makes him reconsider his current transfer dealing policies

Frankly while he has been an excellent chairman for our club he is flawed when it comes to acting on transfers and it has frequently cost us big. We don't necessarily need to sign big names but more of the MOdric, Bale and BErba type deals need to have been made when we've had glaring holes in our squad that have not been filled time after time when transfer windows have slammed shut

*will all that fit on a banner?*

Like the concept, but his approach is the reason why we're anywhere near the CL and not 12 points behind scrapping it our for best of the rest with Everton and Liverpool!

Just send him a note with that written on inside an envelope stuffed with cash, he'll never have enough of that and that's what he sees as real love.

I did find the "cult hero status" remark a little eye-widening.

I wouldn't fuck with our chairman... you seen him on his day off?

1.09 for the impatient...
