Villa played in the Confederations Cup so he would get an extended leave like his Spanish teamates for Barca. So if Barca did sign he won't play for them in the Wembley cup.

ibrahimovic is in La with Inter. he refused to model the new kit. his agent has said he definetly wants to go to Barca.

Hleb is being a plonker and doesnt want to got to Inter.

Rumours that Valencia have seen what is going on and will now sell Villa for 45 mil. Laporta seems to have called Valencias bluff.

Hopefully this stupid swap doesnt go through. Villa is a much better player and perfect for Barcas style/system

Just got the tickets now, don't care about the other teams anymore. It's Spurs at Wembley. COME ON YOU MOTHER-LOVIN' SPURS! :D

Ye I was well cheesed off when I created this thread but now we're less than a week away I cant wait. Not every day you get to go to wem-ber-ley to watch the spurs (unless its carling cup final day )

Pep is a tosser he spoke when the tournament was announced and said it was an honour and an important part of Barca's history (Wembley) and would bring a strong team.

All I hope now is we beat their mish-mash side and can give it large that we beat the european champions etc etc till we lose our first 2 games :D

(nb. Pep is not a tosser I love him and his incredible suits)

Couldn't they get Messi to play for the last 10 minutes. Just make an appearance he's the one everybody wants to see from Barcelona apart from maybe Iniesta and Xavi.

I quite fancy us to beat Barca on friday (prob lose 5-0 now Ive said that), but considering this will be our fourth pre season game and their first, our fitness should be superior. I'm going 2-1 to spurs with defoe first goalscorer. On a side note, Im hoping Ibrahimovic signs in time to play, only seen him 'in the flesh' as it were once, when I went to the Milan derby last year and Inter lost 1-0. He was pants! Want to see what all the fuss is about!

then, if it is up to me, i would use the highly rated youngsters for this one, it would be big test and challenge for them to push for first team football next season, may be this block some not necessary tradition signings like Alnwick, Rasiak, Rocha, Boateng, Gilberto, Sanchez, Chimbonda ( 2nd time ) etc.. these £16m on average players who may be don't get more than league 16 games !!
