^^^MikeCoys, you have Man City winning against Bolton away and drawing Liverpool at Anfield, but us drawing Wigan away and losing at Anfield. I don't see why we should have higher expectations of them than of ourselves, all the predictions with us finishing 5th are just factoring in anxiety about our own games but assuming City will win all their's. In reality we have as good if not better chances than them to finish 4th. If they lose this weekend and we win, we'll be only 2 points behind with a game in hand.

It's almost impossible to predict because we just don't know which Spurs team will turn up in the next few games.

We haven't played well in the Premiership since...ummm...I really don't know.Even when we went on a bit of a run we were playing pretty poorly.

Personally I think those dropped points against Blackpool and Wolves will come back to haunt us. If we'd been 5 points better off going into this part of the season then we could afford to lose away at Chelsea and Liverpool and still be in with a shout. As it is I think we're going to need to win at least one of those games and I just can't see that happening playing the way we are at the moment.

Hope I'm wrong though.

I've just done it all the way through and I have City 2 points ahead of us with the game against them not included.

One problem we might have is that on the last day City have Bolton who will have nothing to play for and potentially an FA Cup final on their minds whereas we'll have Birmingham who are likely to be fighting for their lives.

I think if we ignore the away games at City, Liverpool and Chelsea, we need to win the other 7 games. If we drop any points from those 7 games then we'll struggle.

Mmm but knowing us..we'll heroically beat chelsea/liverpool and whimper to a 0-1 to brum at home... or wouldnt it be nice if that one doesnt matter!

Be nice to beat shitty again though eh!?
