It reminded me a bit of that comic show where the character said "I do a lot of work for charity...but I don't like to talk about it".

I'm just far too cynical to think it's anything other than a PR stunt, but can't say i care that much either

So he decides to announce his transfer on the last day of the transfer window when it could be annouced anytime. Has donated a wage that has a 60-70% tax rate on it to charity (good thing). The only people I saw were from the media at his arrival at PSG so no real interest from the fans. = Media whore.;)

Well he has given his £3million pound wages to charity which may have been taxed up to 75%

whereas the shirts that cost £3.50 to make according to the sun will sell for £96 each, so a huge profit that will make him loads of money more than his wages
