Reading that reminds me of how unlucky Neil Taylor is. He probably would have got a move if he hadn't broken his ankle. I hope he comes good now that Davies is out of his way.

Yeah he's a very good player.

I really liked Taylor when Swans first came up. If I'm being brutally honest I thought he looked a lot better than Davies (although our Ben was pretty good too), and was very unlucky with regards to his injury. Hope he comes back strong.

It just shows you what a chance for a young player can do for their prospects. No injury to taylor and this guy could be on loan at some championship club.

Neil Taylor when fully over his injury will end up at either arsenal or Chelsea.
He's terrific but injury really knocked him for 6 was nasty. It's why Swansea wernt asking so much for Davies Taylor is actually as good as a replacement as you could get.

“Gareth always used to say what a good club Tottenham were and how they always looked after him,” Davies told the Sun on Sunday.

“That has always stuck with me and is one reason why I decided to make this move.

“People will want to compare me with Gareth but we are different types. He is a huge person to live up to, a superstar.”

No injury/ACN for Benny and Bale would've been on loan in the Championship during the 09/10 run-in. Incredibly fine margins.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Davies in real action, he could be a starting LB for ten years if he keeps developing (and someone doesn't pinch him).

Just read the opening paragraph:-
"No frills, no great pace and no attacking instinct to rival Luke Shaw or compatriot Gareth Bale, but Spurs have acquired a player skilled in the art of defending"
and I thought thank fuck for that!
A player like that seems to be a reare breed these days but worth it's weight in gold.
