Technically a 'Jose', I think. This is, after all, the 2nd time Klinnsmann has been offered a Premier league job. Ramos-gate happened between the two.

And with Harry being offered the Barcodes job a month ago, thats 4 clubs now in the Premier League who have admitted lining up potential replacements for managers who they felt might move on/need moving on. That we know of anyway. I'd suggest that in reality half the clubs in the league would have approached potential replacement managers while someone was already in the job over the past 12 months.

Still, lets all bash Levy anyway, as he clearly doesn't understand the business of football.

I think the owners will leave before the manager does. The dubai consortium is rumored to be waiting in the wings.

Statler and Waldorf certainly don't have a clue.

I would say at least half Bill.

I thought it was more a case of mega rich Levy and mega rich Kemsley and the like don't understand any sort of business at all and just got lucky on a few property deals. Aren't they no smarter than a lottery winner?

These guys clearly don't know what they are doing by coming public with this news especially as Jurgen is now confirmed to be Bryan Munchen's manager for next season.

As I see it, this has to be a calculated gamble to announce to Mourinho that he shouldn't take the AC job if his family are settled in Britain (which they are).

Might backfire when Rafa sues their arseholes off and goes and wins La Liga with Real and Liverpool are forced to rehire Graeme Souness, though.
