Yes he probably is, which is good. Keeps him under the radar and at Tottenham.

Hes overrated in Tottenham fans eyes. Hes got a great left foot which draws a lot of attention and makes him look better than his but defensively hes quite weak but hes overall hes still a decent player.

Don't really agree there, I think the view on Ekotto is pretty much split down the middle.
My personal opinion is that he is one of the top 3 in the Prem. On his day, which is more often than not, he's the best.

Granted there will be those that disagree, such is life.

Very consistent player undoubtedly one of the top left backs in the Premiership. Long may he stay playing for Spurs.

Class player

My arsenal supporting mates love him think he's quality and then my united and Chelsea and villa mates think es shit!

So calm and skilful I love him!

Suave mother fucker - love him to bits, the guy's so smooth he makes a McFlurry cry, more composed than a work by Bach and couldn't care less if he tried.

I can't blame other fans when it took about 4 seasons for our own fans to appreciate him. I remember raving about him when he first came, and people were saying they preferred Lee!

The Hansen thing was ridiculous and many of us said so at the time. He took BAE's worse game of the season and used that to suggest that was a typical performance. However I'd rather other clubs think he's crap than try to buy him.

I've always thought of him as one of the 'luckiest' defenders. He'll fuck up or get caught out, but by sheer luck he'll pull it back

Long may it continue :)

Is there not an argument saying that it's not luck if he keeps doing it

I've quite rapidly come round to the idea that he's great. To the point that his name adorns my new shirt!
Yes he's prone to the odd rush of blood/benny moment but I havnt seen many better recently.

I thought it was luck at 1st but he does it so often that it must be talent or skill. Either way I'm always relaxed when he uses his skill to get out of trouble.

I remember when we had Thimothee Atouba and he almost gave me a heart attack every time he would do a stepover in our penalty area.

I genuinely believe Hansen strolls into the studio five mins before he's due on and repeats the same tired old crap he's already made his mind up about.

Ekotto's not perfect, but he's generally very good, and continues to improve every season.

I like him alot. But he does have his one moment of madness every game, he can sometime be sloppy about blacking crosses and there are times when he simply refuses to do anything but play it long. He can be much worse than Dawson, which is irritating because he is a good passer.

BAE is very involved in our play though and sees the ball ALOT. He is one of the best dribblers at the club and he can at times hit a sweet pass.

I think we've relied too much on Benoit though and if Rose can come in and play certain games it'll probably be good for both of them.

Lets not forget how much more comfortable our left sided Chimpanzee looks when he's playing with Disco along that flank - he looks more ready to get forward, makes more runs to the last man when Benny's in possession and just generally looks a lot more sure of his game when they're paired up.
