do me a favour. Looked good because chimbonda was absolute shite. 15 million my arse.Typical overrated and overpriced flavour of the month Englishman. Greedy **** who plays for himself.Ramos won't let us get mugged off again like we did for bent. Hopefully we buy foreign for half the price and 2x the quality. Get the spaniards in! Do your job commolli. No more French Africans. Technically gifted foreigners like arshavin, quersma, navas, jaoquin modric etc.

I think the key word of your post there is like. Cause we haven't a chance in hell of getting any of those players you've mentioned.

Are you sure?Arshavin is playing for a Uefa Cup team. Valencia are mid table in La Liga and have a huge debt. They need the money.

What I mean is that if these players go on the market, they're more likely to go to a Champions League team rather than us in the UEFA cup. If they're that good, we're bound to have competition for them. Remember we have a wage cap at the club too, which won't help.

We have to try. The same way we got Berbatov.

I think if you look back to last year, Bentley was the 401st ranked player in the Prem. I remember this number quite distinctly because Robbo was 402. Nobody seemed to notice Bentley's low number at the time, but I did because I thought it rather betrayed a sense of him being an improving player last season. Regardless or irregardless (depending on your grammar), that list was accurate, if not always 100% accurate. It was spot on about how crap Robbo was. So Bentley is anything but a proven player. He was one of the worst players in the league last year and has been a pretty solid performer this season. How is he proven Prem quality. He's had less impact than Lennon easily. It's just that we are too quick to remember the "now".

I'm not saying that Bentley doesn't have emerging ability. Just that this drive to make him the next big thing in England is too soon.

And if Ramos decides to replace Lennon, he can easily replace him with a continental of higher quality and less value.

What berbs would do with a string of good crosses each game tho.

No good for us next season then if Berbatov is not going to be here! Seriously though Lennon is twice the player Bentley is. His pace frightens defences. Sure he's going through a loss of form but all young players do. If i was a defender i'd rather play against Bentley than Lennon

Fair point, but Berbatov wasn't as high profile when we signed him as some of the names mentioned. Plus he was willing to sign for a "reasonable" salary, which the likes of Joaquin and Quaresma wouldn't. Ramos may be the key to the big signings though, players will see he's a successful manager and may want to play for him, so who knows?

Well it's all about opinions JH - Bentley deffo looked better than Lennon today and Capello rates him higher - I'd love Bentley at the Lane

bentley got player of the season last season at blackburn-so where does your comment about bentley being one of the worst players in the league come from????
and to be honest-without being biased, hes twice the player lennon is..lennon has one thing-pace-warnock had him in his back pocket nearly all game today...bentley has skill-can actually CROSS a ball, and technically one of the best in the league..
15million is about right for him..especially when you look at darren bent 16million..swp 24million...

Alot of wingers are better than lennon. Who the fuck gives a shit. England are shite. He can't even get in ahead of a 32 year old playing in a mikey mouse league.15 million you can shove that overrated arrogant **** up your arse. The media are trying to build him up into beckham successor when he is actually just another overhyped overpriced arrogant **** who would cost 5 million in Spain.

Maybe Bentley wants to stay at Blackburn in which case any valuation is irrelevent. I guess only time will tell...

That was a joke ranking system cooked up by the wankers on the Times. Although the ACTIM rankings are pretty suspect their Top 100 actually has some correspondence with reality; I can't remember where Bentley came last season, but this season he's currently 9th.

I suppose it's too much to hope or ask for you to act like anything but a total tool, Babyloon.
