If it was purely down to technical ability, it would be Huddlestone, no doubt. But, Bentleys goal meant to much more. I'd even argue that Lennon's goal was better than both of them!

Bentley's goal against ar5ena1. It meant more to me, it was an opening goal of a great game and it was just so rare... Thudd's was a brilliant strike, wonderfull finish and it was good to see him scoring (as I rate him very high) but it was already 2-0 and it looked like they did it in the training ground more than once.

Bentley - just because of the circumstances.

Lucky to be able to choose between two such lovely goals.

I don't even think Huddlestone's goal was his best contribution to the game. His assist for Bent's hatrick goal was my personal choice for his best moment, if Huddlestone can apply that aspect of his game to the PL he would be a great player (probably will never have the pace)

Both the 3rd and the 4th last night were really really really good goals , luckily we don't have to chose between them :)

I bet nobody else in the squad could get that volley on target as often as Hudd .

Don't think we are getting the best out of Bentley yet , needs to up his work rate and treat the opposition with less respect as he did against Arsenal !

I thought goals from distance were always down to keeper error?

aka the 'Robinson' rule

I voted Bentley though

It must be good then, I did vote Bentleys, I admit, without seeing it.

It does sound like a screamer, was it like Scholes from Beckhams corners?

If we're all honest with ourselves no where near as crisp as Some of scholes volley's from corners. Hudds was only just on the volley and kept low. Surely a thigh high volley that dips under the bar going across the goal is more perfect?

I think you've shot your load on the vote shanks. 40yard self made Volley agsint he scum at the death star?!!? much much better

Des Walker, Alan Neilson and Woodgate, all similarly scrappy headers but all worth a great deal in my heart (only 3 pieces of silver I have seen us lift in my life as a SPursfan)

Bentley for me, for who it was against, what it meant and the pure cheek.
Hudds was an astounding goal too but Bentley shades it.

I meant I saw Bentleys, but I didn't see Hudds.

Bentleys was amazing though, saw the keeper of his line, brought the chested down ball, side footed ball in air and whallop, over the keeper from 40 yards. Mind I'm not sure if it will win goal of the month, let alone season, as some seriously good goals went in last month!

Huddlestone's.

If I tried Bentley's I would nail it immediately, whereas Huddlestone's might take me 2, possibly even 3 attempts.

Far far more skill and technical ability in the Hudds goal but thats not to take anything away from Bentleys strike, two very different goals and you can't really say which is the better of the two imo. By the way it's far easier to tee up and volley(yourself) and get a shot away than it is too hit a volley like the Hudds

It's got to be Bentley's. I do think Huddlestone's would have gone in even without the deflection though, it went through so many players, it would have been impossible for the keeper to see it early enough to save it.

Anyone got a video of the Goat goal?

I'm just thankful that we're scoring such great goals now. I went with Bentley's because of the opponent and the fact that it will rarely happen again. Thudd scored a similarly great goal on the half volley against City. He could probably do it every game if he got space, but the Bentley one is so hard to pull off.
