I get that Berba's not the best messenger but this isn't a clear cut one for Eriksen.
Could you imagine what the Real crowd would do to him if he had one of his quiet spells?
Even Barca - Messi is having to implore the crowd not to jeer Coutiniho during a CL semi final game!
Actually Coutiniho is a good warning for Eriksen....knowing what he knows now I bet he wishes he'd have not made the move to Barca. Sure he has some medals but he barely contributed to them, is booed all the time and frankly would have made as much money at Pool

Its a difficult one for Eriksen, you can understand when Barcelona or Real Madrid come in for you, players will want to test himself. Todays footballers (not all) have no real allegiance to clubs Robbie Keane was a classic slap in the face with boyhood club. In fairness to Eriksen he has served our club very well and I hope we can get him to sign but if he doesn't we have to let him go with our full blessings.

It goes back to that age-old question, as whether it’s better to be a big fish in a small pond or a little fish in a big pond. I think that he’s at his true level at Spurs. But if it’s money he wants, he’d be mad not to chance it at Madrid.

You can't blame eriksen if he wants to leave he has to weigh up all the factors like his age, opportunity etc or wait 15 years to see if Levy's legacy comes true tough decision.

Well sure, but does that make what he’s saying any less true?

It could even be argued that having done what he did, he has a deeper perspective on what’s involved and the possible pitfalls, wouldn’t you say?

I was spitting feathers over how he engineered his move to Man U, but i agree with the points he’s raised.

I think many of us still feel a little stung by what he did. Even though he's been very nice about Spurs for a while now, I still look at him slightly askance, so definitely understand where you're coming from too.
