bulgarian mates could help translating it

Some points from the interview:

- it was a great plasure for him to win a cup at wembley in front of such terrific fans (he means Spurs fans)

- that final is comparable only to the CL final against Real emotions wise

- there was a second party on Monday which he missed because he was too tired

- no time for personal life, wants to play every day

- Ramos is the big star, his most important skill is his ability to talk to players, to explain them their tasks and raise their confidence

- he felt enormous pressure before the penalty kick but tried to look calm because of his team-mates

- no talks about extending the contract

yeah apparently JJ and Lennon were defo out on the Monday night as well. Berba ran his socks off on Sunday i just really hope he stays, not because we are a one man team, just because there are a handful of players that can do what he does on the pitch, entertain but also produce end results.

Literally:
Q: Is it true that Tottenham offered you a new contract with a significant rise of the wages?
A: There are no such talks right now. I have much more important things to do than talking about contracts. To play and win.

Would you go to the trouble of translating all of it or has berbati taken out the most important of it?

This is almost the whole interview:

“Our Pride: I hide from the noise and the women”

Q: Mitko, did you dream something before the final?
A: To tell you the truth, I don’t know. When I wake up in the morning I usually can hardly remember what I have dreamt about. I try to interpret them, but I quickly forget. Thus even I have dreamt something I don’t remember it.

Q: Did you have a presentiment? Or a sign?
A: No. I always get into the mood of a win, but this is not a presentiment. I just knew that we can beat Chelsea. We did it and this is the most important thing.

Q: When did you feel that you will raise the cup at Wembley?
A: After the final whistle..

Q: After Zokora missed didn’t you think that something bad would happen? You know, “if you miss too much, the rival will score..
A: This is so true. But I haven’t thought about a loss. We played better, I had more chances. I knew that if we kept on like this we would score. And it happened, although in football the most logical doesn’t always happen.

Q: Do you see another trophy at “City of Manchester” stadium in May?
A: Haha, the UEFA final is there, right? There is too much time, I don’t think in advance. We have dozens of games now. Our next rival is very serious. PSV have experience in CL, they are a regular participant in the UEFA cup. But as I have always said, Spurs can beat anyone, if we, the payers, believe in ourselves.

Q: Before the Carling cup final, the English media created two sensations about you – about a woman and about the tickets.
A: I don’t pay attention! I am a pro and I get ready carefully for each game. I concentrate and run away from the sensations. I don’t want to speak about this. When I take tickets, I pay for them with my own money! I get used to this “news”

Q: The journalists took photos of Ledley King in front of a pub who was in a strange condition :p Did you poke fun at him later?
A: of course, the jokes are obligaroty. Ledley didn’t do anything wrong because Ramos told us “ guys, go and have fun, you have two days off. Everyone can party however he wants.

Q: You said that this game has an equal importance as the CL Final one. Unfortunately then you didn’t win.
A: That’s right. There are some similarities between these games….[nothing Spurs-related]

Q:The feeling is the same, isn’t it?
A:Yes, the emotions in both of the games cannot be explained. The first one is the final of the Champions Leagues, in the second one I won a cup at Webley and, moreover, I played in front of a phenomenal public. The feeling, the thrill are incredible.

Q: You said that you had a rest these days. Did u feel the joy of the fans in the streets?
A: I can’t imagine what it will be! I saw how satisfied they were at the stadium. There was even an idea to walk around London, to show the cup. But Huande Ramos said that if we party too much it may have a negative effect on our next games.

Q: After all, don’t you have time for a private life in London?
A: I am too busy with practices. Honestly, this makes me happy. Now I am a football player, there are much more important things than walks and private life. I will be frank with you – when the game ends, I get impatient. I want the next one to start.

Q: May we say now that after this cup you are a star in the league of Ronaldo, Giggs, Drogba?
A: I have been always confident as a player. But I have not changes as a person. I am the same – Dimitar Berbatov. Only the specialists should say who is a star and who is not. I see that we play better and better. This is what makes me happy.

Q: Now say something about the penalty. You told the English media that you were nervous.
A: This is normal. After all this is a final at Wembley, and one of the best goal keepers of the world was in front of me. I tried to look calm because of my teammates. I am happy that I managed to do it although I felt a great pressure inside. It was a game of nerves. Chech waited me. But he lost his nerve and jumped.

think this is a premonition - my 2nd in line to throne gets them before a game and says "she can feel it in her water" have been times she nearly felt my water when we've lost :eek:mg:

Thanks for that. It's a good read.

Whenever you feel like it, if you want to, you can finish the translation of this interview - unless if it really is unimportant to spurs and you don't find it necessary, but I like reading what berbatov has to say ^^

Oook :) Chaplain, this is especially for you;)

Q: Berbatov, King, Keane and Woodgate are big stars, but wasn’t Ramos the biggest star on Saturday?
A: Oo! He has always been a great manager. Long before he came to WHL. We all remember how Sevilla used to win against Barcelona and Real Madrid. I am only happy that he managed to achieve such success with Spurs for a short period.

Q: You told our English colleagues that the main reason for your success with Ramos is that he is a great psychologist.
A: This is true. I would say that this quality is more and more important in the modern football. To be an excellent psychologist, to talk, to explain.

Q: [this is about the penalty] So after all, you waited for him and then kicked the ball in the opposite direction?
A: I have seen a great deal of penalties – in finals as well as in semi-finals. Some players kick the ball with all their might / violently(I don’t know the expression J ) . Or they choose their angle and then “tear” the net. These people who have known me for years, should have known how I would kick the ball. I love elegance.

I didn't translate only one answer it is about the Bayer - Real Madrid game and it is sooo long :p
