The best replacement for Berbatov is Cruz from Blackburn. I told you in the summer that he is available for little money but, of course, no one wanted to hear about him becuase of his problems with injuries.

Now I would advice you to get Samaras from Man City. That's the player who resembles most the young Berbatov. Samaras is a huge talent but has problems at City and could be signed for little money. I could easily predict that Samaras will be a great player in 1-2 years. Mark my words.

This is what distinguishes the good from the great. Is Ramos a good enough manager to change the focus of the teams playing style? Wenger has done it on many occasions. Sir Alex has as well. Even Gordon Strachan has. So it is time for Ramos to earn his money if Berbatov does leave.

Well, if we're paying Juande £90k a week (or whatever) then he should be great at his job and in the class of Wenger and Ferguson. But Joey55 will have something to say about the limits of what a coach can achieve. And selling one of your two best players really doesn't help the coach, especially when your other top player (King Ledley) is unfortunately injuryprone.

The fundamental point still stands: Bent is not a replacement for Berba.

Exchanging Samaras for Berbatov? I would rather have Bobby Zamora!

Stick with what we have. We got to 5th without him and id we still have 3 decent strikers.

Id rather use the money to strengthen other places.

Boy, you are  because you have no clue about what constitutes football talents. Many years ago many fans were  when I told them Berbatov will be a world star in football. They used to call him "death of chances" (in German: Chancentod). Now they think he's better than RVN. Many many fans were  when I wrote at that forum that Berbatov is more gifted than Klinsmann. Perhaps many would still disagree, but I doubt many would  now.

Samaras is a huge talent, that's certain.

Read more carefully. I don's say Samaras can immediately replace Berbatov but that he has the talent to be a great player in 1-2 years. In 2 years he will cost at least 20 mill on the market.

Samaras is a talented player and could be bought with long term intentions of replacing berbs but im getting sick of friggin prospects.

I think Bent should be given a chance but we would have to change our style of play slightly. Bent may also be able to change his game to play more in the Berbs kind of role but Im not sure he has the talent. We may as well give him a go he is one of the most talented young forwards in the country

We have no chance in signing him. Also, you are only saying this because he has been in hot form the past month or so.

Where were you when he was shit?

Watching him play for Bayern, thinking 'he's far too good for us, I wouldn't even bother suggesting it', before slapping myself in disbelief that Blackburn managed to get him.

Why, where were you?

I'm saying it because he's a player I've always admired and thought was out of our league, I've been watching him, amongst others, for years in the CL.

He was a sub at Bayern. Blackburn took a chance (like they did with McCarthy and Bentley). No matter what you say; you are just bigging him up due to recent form. :eek:mg:

fred is kind of below the level we need. he's a dirty bas*tard as well - remember when he broke a player's nose with his elbow intentionally when his side was a couple of seconds away from certain elimination from the CL.

this guy amauri - a brazillian playing in italy for palermo is absolutely awesome. if we manage to beat milan for his signature then we will have one truly top class replacement for berba. listen to my words - you'll love him from the second his cheeky foot touches the lane.

I think there is a major stumbling block in your plan....if Milan want him and he has to choose between us and them then this is a non starter

Ronaldo and Gilardino are subs at Milan, does that mean they would come to us if we tried to get them?

How about; you actually stop trying to tell me what I think, stop talking shit, and accept my answer. I always thought he was far too good for us, which is why I've not mentioned him before. I always thought Keane was too good for us and was amazed when my favourite player signed for Spurs.

'No matter what you say'? Could you actually be any more arrogant with that statement? And wrong, to top it all off.

I bet you never mentioned Santa Crux before he started scoring because he is an unknown in this league.

Whatever Bobbins. It is easy to say Roque Santa Cruz, because he is playing out of his skin at the minute. But I know that you wouldn't have said his name if this situation arose 2 months ago when he was on the bench at Blackburn - who would? He hadn't done anything at Blackburn, he was on the bench.

Arrogant, I apologise for coming across that way. But I think I am correct.

What about Adriano? Though its a risky buy.

And im not sure it conforms with corporate profit maximisation transfer regulations
