I've still got a soft spot for Stalteri vs West Ham.
I fckng loved that goal, thinking about it brings a smile to my face. It was one of those moments you remember....me and brother were going absolutely mental.

VDV against Villa for me if you're purely looking at just the goals....bring occasion into it most people will say Crouch's - not me. Bale's awesome run - running past the Inter CB like he wasn't there and squaring to Pav gets my vote.

Some really good suggestions. My shout is Keane's 3rd against Arsenal in the cup (5-1), yeah even the 4th and 5th are good ones too.

Other than those mentioned above, Steed Malbranque for the 5th in our 5-1 demolition of the scum is worth a shout, literally tore through them to completely demoralise them on the night.

Three of our goals that night were brilliant counters.

Anyone else remember the 2-0 at Man City in our League Cup-winning campaign where we played for 70 minutes with 10 men after Zokora got sent off? This of course was in the days when we regularly tanked City!

Steed ran onto a clearance from our half near the end of the game when we were clinging on to a 1-0 lead, took it past two defenders and scored. Can't find a video for it but I remember it being pretty darn good.

Yep some very good shouts here. Crouch vs Milan, VDV vs Villa, Pav vs Inter and Stalteri vs West Ham great counter attack goals. Also Lennon's 4th goal in the 5-1 vs the Arse has to be up there, countered at speed with some neat one touch passing.

All things considered, it has to be Crouch in Milan for me. The occasion, the setting, the performance capped off by a glorious goal on the counter. Sandro winning the ball, Modric's little clip to Lennon, the flying upfield and the perfect cutback and finish from Crouch. That was special.

This one aint bad either...

Was Crouch vs City a counter? I just remember kaboul bombing down the right wing and crossing it in. After that everything was just a spunky blur as my fire hose flailed wildly casting my seed into the deep reaches of the space.

It wasn't no, we had them under a bit of pressure from what I remember. Fucking fantastic moment, puts me in a happy place thinking of that.

Yeah that was bloody brilliant, I think my vote will have to go to Crouch vs Milan instead. The moment between the ball leaving his boot and then rolling into the corner of the net seemed like an eternity.

Tell me about it, I was one of the lucky ones sat up in the gods of the San Siro - and fuck me did it take forever to roll into the corner.

Then it went absolutely mental.
