He's world-class. If we can get him playing 20-30 games a season for two years with an option for a third, it would be definitely worth it.

Beggars belief that, in the days where we have a limit to the amount of players we can have in our squad, meaning we've still got multi millions worth in loanees, people are happy to add yet another medical table warmer.

Is it just me who doesn't rate Ferdinand and thinks he is prone to one too many errors?

I would only agree to this idea if Utd accepted Luka,Bale,Walker and Sandro in exhange for him.

More injured than King and Woodgate.

Sure we'll be back for Cahill in Jan anyway.

Cahill + Dawson + Kaboul + Caulker + King + Gallas (for 1 more year) =

Very good player in his prime.
Great idea apart from age, injuries and wages.

Lets develop some youngsters, Caulker, or buy someone younger, Cahill
and not block their progress with stop gap signings.
Same applies to goalkeeper too.

Are you lot mad? Everyone had the same worries about Gallas, but he was fantastic last season. And Rio is a better player than Willy ever was. No brainer if its feasible.
