"The former Feyenoord starlet would be open to a move to all of the aforementioned four sides, but is keen to return to the Eredivisie on a one-year loan deal once any transfer has been completed to make sure his family does not have to relocate just yet."

So, if the kid as good as the clubs who are supposedly keeping tabs on him, and for the supposed €1.5mil to €2mil it would take to secure his services, surely going in with an offer just above the quoted figures, say €3mil, and then agreeing to loan him back to Twente, isn't beyond the restraints of our club?

I don't know anything about the kid, but IF those clubs mentioned within the article are REALLY interested in him, I'd love us to make a move, rather than do what we seemingly always do, ie show an interest, not make a move, and then end up wanting him 12 months later after he's gone on to prove his worth, and is only available for £20mil.

I don't think there's a single one of us that hasn't said, for example, "we need to find the Benteke's of this world before they're £20mil players" ? Yes I understand that all signings are risks, but when you're talking €2mil, which equates to roughly £1.4mil , the risk (financially speaking) really is very small in the grand scheme of things.

If we're going to go for a young, promising, left-footed RW who might not be ready for the first team next season, I'd rather we go for Roberts now before his price might get jumped up even more.

Agreed. Young, alot of potential, british, and only a year left on his contract. Fulham is trying to get him to agree to a new contract, though. If he does, then we probably will miss out when he does move.

Agreed, I think it's now or never with him. I think we should take advantage of that contract winding down, the fact he could get to stay in London, and that we can point to playing more young Brits this season than any other club (I believe that's what the report said that someone posted?). Got to bite now or forever hold our peace.

The only drawback to it, as would be the same were we to buy Old Chick, would be that I'd like to see Georgiou given a chance sooner rather than later. I really, really like that kid and think he's one of the most underrated players we have. He's also of such a style and physical maturity that I think he could handle the physical nature of the Prem rather soon.
