...still not too bothered, and I just watched the highlights. Robbo's no good, Zoko was very poor, and if Berbatov had scored that dipping volley who knows how the rest of the game had panned out.

I wonder if Cerny will be back in the side against PSV..

To have a team of quetionable quality like B'ham do the double over us is quite hoinestly fecking embarrassing. Hangover or not we should be better than that...

Bent's shite end of!! and as mentioned earlier King and Woodgate are great but to get only the odd game with them toghether is ridiculous...espeically given that Rocha, Kaboul and Zokora are crap at the back!

I hope and pray that the top player sincluding Berbie have agree with Ramos that the league is second priority and the UEFA cup is key, if they haven't then as much as Ramos might buy in the summer some noteable names might walk out to go and play with players that turn it on week in week out and not just when thy bloody feel like it.

I hate being a spurs fan sometrimes never knowing whether you are that good or not.

Disgusting, every last bit of it. Each player deserves to be put in front of a firing squad thinking they are about to be killed only blanks are used just to scare the shit out of them so they will maybe think next time, live rounds will be used. Don't ask me why I think that should happen I just DO.

I'm so sick of nobodies like Larsson scoring wonder strikes against us, that's the second time now for him. That freekick, I mean...
When the hell are we going to score from freekick, as a matter of fact, who in our team would be capable of scoring like Larsson did today?

i think thats only his 3rd or 4th goal ever. 2 against us

What's all this hangover business???? The final was last week for crying out loud, you think Ramos would let them drink days after???? What are you all thinking????

Also, someone mentioned we can still win the treble???? Last time I checked, Manure kicked us out of the FA Cup.

And I hate Spurs fans who can never accept that we are neither the best team in the world nor the worst.

We're no more a shite team now than we were title challengers after Sunday.

Spurs have to show class performances in the league as well. Otherwise, it will be more difficult both to attract great players and to keep great players. Such performances and results are embarassing.

Ah come on regardless of false status etc we should not be losing 4-1 against B'ham who last time I loked were in the relegation zone!!

I have to say I really didn't understand the substitutions.

Keane & Jenas on - yes absolutely. But for Malbranque and Tainio, who we know will both give blood for the Spurs cause?

I've defended Chimbo on these boards, and I would still pick him at RB for the UEFA Cup, but he would definitely have got the hook from me at halftime in this kind of match. I'd also have moved Teemu into CM to give us some solidity and positional discipline.

This was a test of our players mentality and a test of our coaching staff to make sure the players were up for it and in the correct frame of mind, the test was failed big time.

This result didn't surprise me as it's the Spurs way, I'd love to be surprised in the future, then I'd know we were going places.

It pisses me off that people think this result is acceptable because we won the League Cup.

That is not the mindset of any successful team in history.

It shows how small-time our Club still is when our biggest defeat of the season is to Birmingham City.

We do not need to sacrifice League games for the Uefa Cup. We should have enough mental strength to perform in both.

Embarrassing.

Ramos fucked up this week with the team selection

in an interview on SSN (i think) Gus talked about the defence and how the top teams defence play week in just about to become good, so we go and change our CB's yet again, and during the game.... stupidity!! not impressed with anything today

I have to second this. It also shows how weak our team is when certain players have not been picked.

We should have had this one what with the win on sunday and all but it just goes to show that may'be that cup win was'nt quite enough to bring the best out of alot of our current squad.

Our heads should have been held high but it looks like there was either complacency or just no real motivation to win.

Well I found it quite funny.

I dont think I'll ever find a 4-1 defeat funny. Presumably it gets funnier the worse the opposition and the further our away fans have to travel.

I suppose it was ONLY the Premier League. Although I've noticed more and more teams are fielding strong sides in this competition. How funny.

I quite like the idea of seeing 5th, 5th, 11th immortalised in our history.
