Just a heads up for anyone who might be interested. Afridi hit 124 off 60 today in a ODI against Bangladesh. 84 of those in boundaries to only 40 ran!!

Elsewhere Shiv is 163* in a Test agaisnt Proteas, so on his way to a double ton with any luck.

That's awesome from Afridi, even if it is only Bangladesh, it's still a great example of clean hitting. I'm in reasonable form this season for my club, got 70 on Saturday with 11 4's and 2 6's!

Unfortunately I can't get as excited about Chanderpaul though, he has bored me to tears for too many years, I hate watching him!

well chanderpaul got out for 166. he spent nintey-five balls getting from 150 to 166! accompanying him was Dwayne Bravo, not a man known for his Tavaresque batting, who took over 200 balls to get a fifty.

these days i just play casual park cricket. i have played team games with whites, umpires and training in nets etc but still at a very low level. i miss nets actually. i'm more of a bowler (medium, bit of swing, mostly good control of length)
