Lack of creativity, no one wanting to put there foot in, and no one willing to take a shot....

we looked all over the place today at times, it was an embarisment

We didn't get going until Bale and Berba came on today unfortunately and by then it was too late.

We have to buy a centre back, Dawson is no where near good enough.

On the plus side this might just make Levy pay what people want rather than dragging things out for so long.

Why no King and Bale in the starting lineup ?

Was Juande saving them for a bigger game thinking we could beat Boro away fielding a second string ?

we were terrible today. typical spurs away performance, only woodgate can come away with with any credit

Absolutely correct regarding Dawson. Unfortunately, even tho he seems a hardworking nice bloke, he is just not good enough for top 4 football. We cant afford to carry players in our team and the sooner we get someone like Corluka or whoever then the better off we will be.

Also it seems like we need that DM still, someone to break up the play and help us start from the back! Id like to see us bring in Corluka, Veloso & Arshavin and then the team would look like:

Gomes

Bale
Corluka
Woodgate
Hutton

Dos Santos
Modric
Veloso
Bentley

Arshavin
Bent

Personally I'm not worried. We had our moments in our match, it was definately not as bad as last season's opener and Boro are a decent team at home when they face powerful teams, especialy ours who is new and needs time to settle to the league's pace

But I have to make this point, Boro are ALWAYS good at home against teams that are supposed to be better than them. And if we bounce back v Sunderland and get a result at Chelsea I'll still be satisfied with our start.

I have to say I'm a big Ramos fan BUT wtf was that all about -why do managers have to try to be clever - we were moving nice and smoothly pre-season then he decides to play Bentley on the left and play a load of lightweights away from home in the prem

I wanted him to play 4-5-1 but I wanted Hudd/O'Hara/Bale in the mid not lennon (no offence to AL who's done well this seaon - but that mid was unbaalnced lightweigt and had Bentley on the wrong side - why??????

having said that - all the people who thought we should beat Boro - why???????

we typically struggle to win away from home in the PL - today was no different - ig crowd - home side pumped up - it was always going to be difficult - don't know why JR decided to make it even more difficult - but hey - what do I know :)

I do back him re benching Berbs tho - tho of course I don't know the inside story -

but that was a poor 4-5-1 he chose

also people kept telling me all summer LB wasn't a problem - in the end I conceded - not sure I should have cos it sure looked a problem to me today

as for CB - mmm - all those people who told us King was fit and would be playing - all those hutton woody king bale back 4's that I read - yeah where were they?

yes hutton was unexpectedly injured - but King Bale mmmmm

Itks mmmmmm
