Today has made me think that their approach to management was to ignore what was right infront of them and try and find a solution which gave the illusion of knowing something that others don't. Ange made the simple decisions that were clear for all to see and was rewarded.
They are an old type of management who are just stubborn. When spurs signed both i had a bad feeling as both have been shown that they just spend a lot of money and sign players that fit a very particular setup and that was one we could not afford but also did not have ready. It was also the complete opposite of what we were doing before, i don't do Levy out stuff and actually he has done more right than wrong but signing those managers was just strange.

I'd imagine it was more of a case of "I didn't want these players, so I won't be using them." Too stubborn to see the woods for the trees, a shame as we really wasted Kane's last season because of it.
same for Poch, Jose and Conte to be fair.

too much ego were the downfall of all them at Spurs.

3rd game in a row for Romero without a yellow too, right? Looks so much more composed and measured this season without giving up on the aggression when needed. So, so good.

I’ve been impressed with Hojbjerg’s role so far. He’s a calming head when we need it, same with Davies. I think we need to keep these guys. It could be important.
Please don’t fall in to that trap after 3 good games. Davies has been a great servant, but no way he makes it into the top 4/6 match day squads. Hojbjerg if he’s happy to be a bit part player I’d say maybe.

but this is the underlying issue with moving players on, mediocre players are given too much grace.

Danny Boy needs to spend a few Bob next week to keep us moving in the right direction. Richy needs to come good soon, real soon. I know people say he needs time etc but today IMO, he just seemed slow and out of sorts.

Those mediocre players kept the game in a comfortable position for us to see out with ease. As squad options off the bench we could do a lot worse.

What happened with Richarlison second half? I missed the incident.

You could be right.

Also, they are two stubborn bastards so when someone says "Should Bissouma play more?" They seem to take it as someone questioning their coaching so they leave that player out for longer and seem to make it harder for them to get back in.

They then criticise that player for one mistake to justify their choice and show everyone.

You **** Jose. You **** Antonio. How fucking DARE you take away my fucking Tottenham.

FUCK.

Also, fuck you Bournemouth. Put that right up your excellent-stag-do-locationed, surprisingly-high-ratio-of-hot-womened, generally quite nice location.

Up the mighty Lilywhites. YID ARMY.

Thought he was unlucky with that first chance

He scores that and his whole game changed as confidence comes flooding in.

He then gradually got worse and started to do simple things poorly. You could see every poor action was getting into his head.

I do draw the line at his last giveaway though. You can't weakly give the ball up and then just stop and sulk.

That is what lost Ange's patience too.

I wouldnt write him off yet. Goals change players and 1 or 2 and he could get back to his level, which whilst it is not 'elite' is still good.

But he has to stop letting poor actions get into his head.

I agree with everything you said except we cannot wait for him to turn this around, he looks miles off the required standard since he joined. We need to get another option in up top before the window closes.

Tajts your opinion dude and you’re welcome to it obvs, but I disagree with you.
I didn’t see the game so I’m basing it off previous, but I still think my point is valid in that Davies isn’t top 6 standard, let alone top 4.
just my opinion though.
