Slightly off topic(ish) but the BT/TNT whatever coverage was absolute shite.

Doing the thing about showing replys while the match is in progress and drone scenes which were totally irrelevant.

So if you didn't see the game you can't really have an opinion on their performance today to be brutally honest.
Yes hence why I said it’s based on previous. And not on 30 mins today, if you think a decent 30 mins is warrant enough to be kept around good for you. I’m just saying IMO, Davies is no way near good enough, peh could be useful to be kept around though.

Oh my gosh I fucking LOVED the way we played today. What a job Ange has done already. We look a team, we are brave and the passing is fantastic. Two class goals and it could have been more. I swear I almost had tears in my eyes watching us progress up the pitch with simple passing football. Maddison, VDV, Udogie, Bissouma, Sarr...almost everyone top class apart from Richarlison whose touch is appalling for a professional footballer and with him being a Brazilian player I find it quite astonishing. He murdered two or three moves because there was no link up between his brain and his feet. The subs were made at the exact moment I said to my mate that I would make changes now. And they were very good subs too. I swear Perisic had 100% pass completion. He and Pierre restored the composure of the team after a sticky period of the game where Bournemouth were pushing and we were beginning to drop off. How many years has it looked like our team has no idea how to play football and now this! I am in awe of what Ange has us producing in such a short space of time.

Their manager saying that the second goal changed it and broke their momentum but I think the substitutions Perisic and Hojbjerg made the did that and led directly to the goal. Had Richarlison still been on Kulusevski wouldn't have been in position to make that run.

Udogie's pace in tight areas is frightening.

Gonna get loads of joy down that side with him Perisic and (hopefully when he gets going) Son. With Madison Saar and Biss feeding them.

Also can't wait to see what Bentancur can bring to this side.

Seeing a team no longer reliant on individual brilliance but on passing and movement is a real joy.

The little drop of the shoulder and pull away Biss did in the build up to the first goal was lovely.

Simple, effective and so utterly lacking from our "winning systems" of the last few years.

You could be right.

Also, they are two stubborn bastards so when someone says "Should Bissouma play more?" They seem to take it as someone questioning their coaching so they leave that player out for longer and seem to make it harder for them to get back in.

They then criticise that player for one mistake to justify their choice and show everyone.

The two ways you describe it are exactly how it felt and it made it infuriating to debate players on here because we weren't able to have consistent variables.

We are such a strange species.

Yes odd! Bissuomo gets a yellow for an innocuous tackle, Arron gets nothing for a rugby tackle on Maddison when he’s past him and heading into the penalty area!!!
Also a blatant elbow to the face for VDV results in a check but no card and someone runs by Perisic with little contact and a lengthy check for a red and a yellow given.
Was some really poor officiating today.

I dont like to kick the fella when he's down but Richarlison's performance up front was the worst ive ever seen from a Spurs forward. And this is from a man who stood on the Shelf watching Ian Moores and Chris Jones miss chance after chance.

Clearly he is drained of any confidence. I hope he's picked to play against a weakened Fulham team in the League Cup next week as we cannot afford to give up on him.

I hope Levy saw that we urgently need a replacement.

Big difference compared to last seasons game v Bmouth.
Enjoyed Vic’s performance aswell as the obvious candidates (Madders and VDV)
