So for England to win, it’s a small matter of France, likely to be Spain after and probably Brazil in the final… easy eh ?

I can get behind that. A troubled nation brought together by football, and the ability to experience it vicariously through Richarlison would be great.

His emotions at each checkpoint in his footballing career is so endearing. I love that he’s so openly thankful for what football has given him and, if we can’t win it, I’d love to see his tears of joy.

I cannot see Croatia putting up much against Brazil, they really struggle with goals, very slow in build etc, so I’m pretty confident Brazil will get to at least the sem-final.

People were complaining about the "easy" games England seem to have had in recent tournaments, so this should please the moaners at least.

Looks like people are still wanting to suck the joy out of football. Brazil being criticised for dancing? May as well score then go straight to the centre spot and be like robots with zero emotion.

Indeed, if you can't enjoy scoring at the world cup finals then when can you?

Miserable fuckers. If you can't enjoy yourself at the world cup, when can you?
Yeah, I maybe wouldn't condone that sort of stuff in a league game or such but this is supposed to be a celebration of football.
It's the biggest stage, so if the players are having fun and enjoying themselves, I'm all for it.

How many teams have we seen struggle to cope with the pressure at these tournaments? So to see a team displaying unity and enjoying it, yes please.
Surprised some people aren't moaning that it was disrespectful to give their 3rd keeper some minutes too.

Imagine the Brazil frontline v Maguire
As an England fan, the thought of Mbappe getting past Walker and having a run at Harry Maguire is already scaring the sh*t out of me, let alone the Brazil entire forward forward having a go if we managed to get that far...

Richarlison has been openly emotional about things when he’s achieved certain goals or milestones in his career. You could see how much his first goals in the CL meant to him, his WC goals etc

Now I’m guessing here obviously, but it seems to me that the more of these accomplishments, the more he’ll feel he belongs, the more confident he’ll become and consequently a better player for it.

Then, as soon as he reaches those levels, he’ll fuck off to Barca or Madrid ?
Not before Levy has demanded a ransom that would pay off a huge chunk of our stadium build costs?

Brazil vs Argentina would be some game
On the one hand yes, on the other hand no, not if Brazil get their dancing and showboating skills into overdrive and go 2 or 3 nil up because I could ironically see Romero going steaming into Richarlison at full pelt all red mist in a 50/50 challenge like a red rag to a bull, and an injury ruling out Richarlison for 2 months after the World Cup....

Well yeah if you let them dictate the game then you are in trouble. The key to beating both of those sides is imposing yourself on them, and we certainly have the players to do so. If we make the game about their front players v our back line I think we are on a hiding to nothing. Hopefully we will tray and make it about our forward players v their back lines which imo have vulnerabilities as has already been shown. There have been no outstanding defences this far in this world cup and I don't believe it's a winning formula like it is has been in the past for teams like Italy or Germany.

I want to see players have flair and personality and enjoy their world cups if possible. For a few it may be their only one. Nothing wrong with the dancing whatsoever. I rather enjoyed seeing the coach join in as well.

Exactly this.

100% other teams are equally worried about Kane, foden, Saka, grealish, rashford too, and then we have a Bellingham who seemingly can burst through the lines - we should be celebrating that instead of worrying about others!
