So what's everyone expecting?

entertaining loss for mine. Just think Brentford will get us in the air and in behind with a defence still learning g to play together.

But it should be fun

Think that’s the team 99% of us would had picked, so you know the outcome - 2-0 Brentford mbuemo brace.

Unless the plan is to sign 2 more top CB’s and VDV covers LB if Udogie can’t play then fine otherwise Davies should be no where near our squad, can’t believe anyone else feels differently tbh it’s been clear for years just like Dier, Tanganga etc that they’re not the level we need.

Feels like we have a lot of depth in some positions and not much elsewhere. That bench would look a lot better with a second striker on it and a high quality centre back.

Again, it's possibly quite telling that Dier is behind Sanchez now.

Love this. Pundits giving their two bob’s worth saying we’ll struggle without Kane have failed to factor in that half our team is new compared to last year (if you include Bissouma who hardly played) and we have a manage who actually wants to play football. COYS 🔥🔥🔥

The other point is that Ange's high-energy game plan will mean that it's extremely likely that the starting midfielders will be getting leggy in the final third of the match, just as they did on Tuesday. Sarr, Lo Celso will probably end up getting significant game time.
And bringing those guys on with their attacking quality when the game is more open is a solid game plan too!

Happy with the team selection, love that Ange has put 4 new starters out in the 1st game. Slightly concerned about a lack of a striker on the bench. Something the club need to address before the window closes.

while i agree with you 99% of the time, this ain't one of them. Davies is perfectly fine against teams that are less direct and the wingers can't operate at warp speed. it's speed that he struggles to handle.

Yeah I think we’ll control the game but get picked off on the break.

Really looking forward to watching Udogie today, saw a bit of him at Udinese, watched him in pre season and he looked brilliant, looking forward to seeing him play prem opposition in a meaningful game.
