I think Postecoglou's system relies on wide forwards who are super quick and can beat a man. Not sure hw Kulu fits that.

Defence is still a massive issue, squad needs big improvements

For the first team we’re debatably playing our first choice XI even with potential incomings. The area of concern is in central midfield. I know Skipp did well in preseason but if you’re going to play a high line then you need basically Bissouma x 2… two players with the physical attributes/pace to get back and protect the defence.

Squad wise… we’ve currently no number 2 (injured), Spence who looks like he’s leaving, Porro who isn’t a RB, Sess’s who’s injured, Reguilon who’s like tumble weed, Davies who runs in treacle, Jeykll and Hyde Sanchez and then dire Dier. Scary times.

Son is completely wasted hugging the touchline, if Ange is going to insist on the inverted fullbacks and wide wingers, Son has to play up top

Why do we HAVE to play into Brentfords strength. Attacking football is lovely, but Brentford have one plan; win the ball and kick it long.

Frustrating but was always going to be at times this season. When we click we'll be great but consistency might not come for a while.

Need a good HT regrouping.

Son still stuck in Conte/Mason low confidence mode.
First thought is to stop and then pass back.
Ange needs to get him flying again .
