The way they've written that team out points towards Sanchez playing right back and a 4-3-3 which I wouldn't be totally against. More likely to be 3 at the back but would be pleasantly surprised if he did play Sanchez at RB

Dier dropped. Aurier not in squad.
Surely it’s:
Lloris
Toby Sanchez Rodon
Sissoko Davies
Hojbjerg Ndombele
Bale Bergwijn
Son

???

Playing three CB's can make a lot of sense if you have quality attacking wing-backs.

*Looks at Sissoko and Davies*

Strange line up again sissoko and Davies as wing backs or Rodon at RB. Good to see Dier dropped after his horror show vs Liverpool just to prove that he is not mourinho’s love child

Guys, I’ve got it! Can’t believe no one has thought of this before but hear me out... Let’s buy a backup striker but not actually play him when our main striker is injured ?

Those summer signings of Doherty and Vinicius are proving great value. Not even deemed good enough to start as Plan B when plan A is out of the team.

Sanchez’s better games for us have come when he’s the central guy in the middle of a three.
