I was watching the 2005 season review and just thought to myself why not re-sign Mido! With Berba and Keano looking likely to leave I think he would be a cheap replacement! Hope neither player leaves though Keane has been so consistent for nearly 3 years now.

I saw this quality striker at the Euros, think we should stick a bid in, he'd make a great replacement for Keane or Berba. Think his name was Postiga...

We did finish 5th whilst he was a member at Spurs for 2 seasons, maybe he's a lucky charm. In his first full season, during the lasagne season, he was our best striker until he went to the African Nations cup.

He was instrumental in us getting to 4th that season at Christmas. We badly struggled when he didn't play and remember particularly our fa cup 3-2 defeat to Leiceister when we had rasiak playing. Also our results dipped badly in the 2nd half of that season when he wasn't playing.

Although i don't think he is the same player anymore, i do feel Spurs fans should show some respect.

There is only one of our recent strikers I would sign back and that is Kanoute. He could also be one of the experienced heads we need. Of course Defoe and Kanoute worked well together. Oh well..........

Mido is uinderrated by many on this site. When fit (agreed not often in the end) he worked hard down the channels and helped create chances with his presence and movement. He was also very good at defensive set pieces.

He is a little disruptive though. I'd have him back if he could accept he'd not automatically be 1st choice and he showed a Hudd like attitude to weight loss

replace the best striker in the country with that fat useless waste of space.

I would be asking for my 750 quid back then.

Villa or Mido? hmmmm

If you're bringing Mido back, you might as well get Andy Gray and John Lacy back as well.

If Mido had played like he did in the first half of the 2004-05 season in the second, we would have comfortably qualified for the CL. As it was, we had Keane on his own up front.
