Broadcasting the Cup Final on subscription TV

It's a joke really that the carling cup final isn't broadcasing on BBC or ITV live today. We get the FA Cup and Champions League finals ..why on earth not the Carling?

It's not considered one of the crown jewel sporting events that has to be shown on terrestrial... Sky obviously bid more than anyone else...

Most people have access to Sky Sports, those who don't can easily get to a pub that screens the game (or if under age I am sure they have a friend or releative who will let them watch it round there house)

I for example have Sky yet am still going down the pub to watch it, let's not moan about little problems that are easily solved today (Spurs are on their way to Wembley after all)

tbh i prefer its being shown on sky as sport coverage on bbc and itv isnt half as good as on sky.

On that point tho If there is anyone in the hull area who doesnt have access to sky and wants to watch the match feel free to pm and you can come to my house and watch the game with me and girlfriend :up:....

Added incentive for me today also comes from the fact my house mate supports utd....

well it is annoying for me. what annoys me th most though is why can't you just buy the game like you used to be able to? if you didn't have skysports you could pay £3.50 and have it just for the game. ive got setanata now which is great as i see spurs on the box more than ever before. now i live ijn the fucking suburbs where the only place to watch the game is the biggest shit hole boozer i have ever seen.
