As most would agree Bubble's sig has always been a thing of legend, but I was wondering would these players be the ones I'd like. This includes the ins and outs.

Please try to be reasonable (Berbs isn't going for 35mil even if you think he's worth that).

I didn't say I didn't like Juve, I said that when they came to the Friuli last season they were rubbish (especially Del Piero) excluding Buffon and Camoranesi.

I might not actually change anyone from Bubble's team I think I would actually be delighted if we lined up like that against Boro. Of course his sig will be completely different by next week and I'll probably hate that team.

I'm just not a Bento fan, especially at the price they're asking for him.

Plus I think to get the best out of Modric etc... we should change formation from 4-4-2. I lined up as 4-2-3-1 but 4-2-2-2 or 4-3-1-2 would be just as feasible wit those players.

I think Veloso and Hudd would be too pedestrian. Looking a Holland during the Euro's, the 2 DM's worked really well together. One was strong and more creative (Engelaar/Hudd), the other was smaller, quicker and a good tackler (de Jong). It doesn't have to be de Jong, Makoun would have done the same job but hes gone to Lyon, I cant think of any others at this point in time.

Not sure we will be playing with 2 DM's. I think the fact we don't even have one true DM tends to suggest we won't anyway. I think we'll be playing the SSDP (and Bubbles team would do it very well).

I must admit the team in my sig does look good. All we need is Bentley, Albelda and Jarque - All realistic targets IMO

We would have dramatically improved the first team and the squad with only a net spend of approximately 30m. Every single player I think are surplus to requiremnets would not be missed at all. The majority hardly even featured last season

The average age of the team is still relatively young with only Albelda over 29. We also have half the first team at the right age to really be playing their best football (Gomes, Woodgate, King, Berbatov and Keane). Plus with youngsters such as Giovanni and Bale and the slighty older Modric, Bentley and Hutton we can be a real force

Liverpool and United know that which is why they won't Berbatov and Keane. If you compare this 11 with Liverpools you can see why Benitez wants Keane.

My only slight concern is we are moving away from our british look which were unique in doing

Dawson is out in Spain, so i'd imagine we're planning on keeping him.

Kaboul is not out there. Neither are Rocha, Gardner, Boateng, Lee or Stalteri.......which probably hints at something. :shrug:

I like Dawson. He was only bad when he played alongside Kaboul. I would have him as our 4th choice
