Burnley and Spurs have engaged in a bizarre battle over coach Simon Davies.

According to a report by Alan Nixon, both clubs have offered Davies a role within the club. Tottenham believed that their agreement with Davies meant he was set to begin work with the club on Wednesday. But the former Anderlecht man failed to show up to work to start his new role.

Burnley are also reportedly unsure of the whereabouts of Davies at this moment, with both clubs currently unsure of where his future lies.
