Poch is just frustrated, we underperformed.

It's weird how fatigue works. We were out on our feet in the last few games but some how looked more lethargic today after the rest.

Anyone that disagrees with this is a joke.

She never gives any decent insight, just rolls out the same clichés and waffles on about rubbish.

I get the need for female pundits but surely it’s worth actually using someone that has a clue.

She’s more insightful than the likes of Carragher, Bellamy etc

Apparently Poch was shouting at him "What did you say? What did you say?"

He's just refused to discuss it in the interview.

Wrong move if you ask me. If it was something against him he should have told everyone so Dean can’t hide behind the FA

Poch was as much to blame as anyone. Time and time again when it really matters do we go at teams at 100mph and set down a marker? Or do we play the side to side, backwards to centre halves, patient, patient, patient approach?

In modern years the teams that win titles are great going forward. We aren't. We are ponderous and predictable and allow the opposition to get behind the ball. We basically rely on individual magic.

But even if we are going to play a slow tempo patient game, you need a midfield. And taking off Winks (who was actually playing OK) for a striker was a ridiculous decision. Eriksen dropped back where he became increasingly ineffective in attack and a liability in defence. Sissoko, who was having his worst game in a while, now had the job of two people to compensate for Eriksen being in the midfield.

And with no midfield, we still tried to play it out from the back.

Tactically, that was a clusterfuck.

I think playing wing backs was a bad move... if you are not going to cross the ball in then no point...

Credit to Burnley, I hate the ****s off them but we should have done better.

I said this in the week. Knew it would happen.

Poch wants to take them away somewhere next month. ?

Was Poch fuming at the ref at the end, I turned it off but my mates were saying that he was going nuts at Dean?

Suddenly this week looks important for different reasons. If we lost to Chelsea all of a sudden Arsenal could go to us knowing a win puts them a point behind us. Top 4 is nowhere near done and dusted, we’ve got a potential fixture pile up coming up too. We need to shake off today’s result and at the very least beat Arsenal next weekend.

Before this game , we knew that it was always going to be difficult to win the title this season.

With the various factors, mentioned so many times before, going against us, our realistic target was having CL for next season. Despite the loss today, we are still on target for that.

Let’s just despair today and then pick up and look forward to the two upcoming London derbies.

I love Kane but cannot believe he didn’t start on the bench today after how brilliantly the squad has done without him

Sends out the wrong message

Imagine bringing him off the bench for the last 30

Poch not great today.

Took off Winks and we lost the plot

Last 30mins we played no football, had zero control and Burnley came at us time after time

This will be our 7th defeat in 27 games. That’s a lose ratio of 26%.

Manchester City would be disappointed if they lost that many league games in two full seasons.

We will, of course, try and spin this as a positive thing. And that’s why we’re nowhere near winning anything.

They've lost 8 in the last 2 full seasons.

They must be fuckin' suicidal, eh?

We never lost the title today, we are all long enough in the tooth to know we were never realistically in it, what concerns alot of us is getting caught by the chasing pack

The trouble is we were out of the title picture and then somehow find ourselves back in it. I think it has always been a long shot because we need to keep winning and hope City and Liverpool slip up multiple times. We've actually put a great run of wins together and now we've lost one. That is always going to happen. We're always going to be off the pace at the top. I actually wanted us to keep pressing for the title just to keep the teams chasing us away. We've built a great gap over Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea so we need to bounce straight back from this. We can't afford to let them too close to us.

For all the fixture congestion I have to say not playing for a week and a half doesn't help either. It's really difficult when you lose momentum. Players just need to keep playing regularly to stay sharp. So we have another busy couple of weeks and then another couple of weeks off. The stop start fixtures are going to make it very difficult for us.

Shocking performance but not surprised with this team anymore. Always letting you down when it matters.

This next week could be nice, our next 4 games Chelsea, Southampton and Liverpool away and arsenal at home in there.

We could be out top 4 by mid March or could have sealed the deal but the fans who were mocking arsenal and Chelsea in the week may want to be quiet as this could be our biggest bottle job ever

We had to win today not for the title but for top 4 as our run in is so much harder than the rest

Big game on Wed....

At least they've won things and played at the highest level, what's her level compared to the game she's talking about. You could have non league players in her role with the same experience but she's there for being female, tokenism

Are there any female pundits you would prefer to see? Or are none of them qualified, in your eyes, to analyse mens football?

Genuine question.
