Great performance until we brought on the cup squad
Yeh definitely was a drop off. The outball wasn’t there because Richie kept standing in an offside position. We played some great stuff and could have scored more. We haven’t been up like that in a while and I think they took their foot off the pedal and I reckon that will be the first thing they hear about from Ange. Gotta keep learning lessons.

Just come on here to see what everyone is saying and half the posts I’ve read were nitpicking. We have so many positives from that performance and the upgrade in our first 11 is unreal. The whole start of the season has seen us getting better every game.
A couple of signings away, mainly another top centre half and another attacker , maybe Gallagher as back up and I can see us doing great things. Like winning things great. Buzzing

Another performance which was a brilliant watch. Ange is a genius. Hopefully that’s the start of a great season for Son. If we want top 4 we’ll need that from him.

Loved that. Yeah we take risks which can be miss a heartbeat moments but by god we look dangerous every time we go forward.

What a save by Vic. What a finish from Son, What a howitzer from Romero. Never mind darts, Maddison should get himseolf a conductor's baton.

Sloppy goals either end of the match notwithstanding... that was fucking fun. I absolutely love Madds, and I'm delighted to see Son get another hat-trick.

I'm especially glad we won, because I'm about to watch Monchengladbach get cuffed by Munchen. They've got some new fancy dan striker it seems...
He’s dead to me until they play Utd in the CL. Then I hope he fills his skechy boots.

Pen duties at his age - good lad.

It’s great to see one of our youngsters make a real difference, especially on his debut. An assist and a goal in circa 25 mins after coming on. He’s one player you can look at and have a real belief that he can kick on.

To ratify... I'll be watching because I follow Gladbach. At least they get this game out of the way early. That english bloke will score a hatrick because they're shite.

I know it might seem trivial but that non penalty has really fucked me off. You cannot not give a penny because you feel sorry for the home team, ref the game not the situation. Aside from the fact it (potentially) get our striker low on confidence off the mark, it’s essentially a 2 goal swing - no way Burnley score a late consolation goal if it’s 6-1. Goal difference matters in this league, it rank amateur level refereeing to not give a penalty based on sympathy for a team getting waxed at home

Hate to be a negative on the back of a glorious win (I’m not, I actually love it) but it’s really ground my gears. The money in the PL and that is the standard of refereeing we are seeing week in, week out. Embarrassment
