Definitely a dive. Should be booked for that.
"I didn't see it..."
Definitely a dive. Should be booked for that.
They have also started showing celebrity tweets on screen it's a sad time for the showI was really surprised Match of the Day showed the photo of Wenger falling on Saturday night. Don't get me wrong....I loved it, and actually paused it to show my wife, but I thought BBC were a bit classier than that. Strange decision from the MoTD team to show it. Wenger will be furious!!
Arsene Wenger trolled with Arsenal ‘caution’ signs after falling over in Liverpool
Wednesday 12 Feb 2014 5:48 pm
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger probably just wanted to forget about his slip at Liverpool’s Lime Street train station over the weekend.
The Gunners boss took a tumble as he entered the station following his side’s 5-1 thrashing by Liverpool at Anfield.
But instead of putting it to bed, a cheeky betting company have moved to mock Wenger – and make sure he doesn’t forget about the embarrassing incident anytime soon.
Indeed, Betfair have placed several ‘caution’ signs around Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, along with other areas the Frenchman might visit.
They include the club’s Highbury House offices, where he’ll be sitting down for negotiations over a new contract, along with the local Arsenal Tube station.
The cheeky signs won’t go down well with Wenger, who looked more a little miffed when one football fan took snaps of his fall – instead of helping him up.
Still, at least with these signs everywhere, he probably won’t be slipping up again anytime soon…
Arsene Wenger is a 'specialist in failure' - Jose Mourinho
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26188451
Arsene Wenger is a "specialist in failure", according to Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
The Blues boss was responding to the Arsenal manager's claim the Premier League title is "Chelsea's to lose".
Chelsea hold a one-point advantage over the Gunners, with Manchester City a further two points back.
Under Wenger, Arsenal have not won a trophy since 2005 and Mourinho said: "Eight years without a piece of silverware, that's failure."
The Portuguese manager, who won the Premier League twice in his first spell as Chelsea manager between 2004 and 2007, has won league titles in four different countries as well as the Champions League with Porto and Inter.
The last trophy Wenger won was the FA Cup in 2005, and Mourinho says his current employers would not tolerate so long without silverware.
"He is a specialist in failure," said Mourinho. "I'm not. So if he is right and I am afraid of failure it is because I didn't fail many times.
"The reality is he's a specialist because eight years without a piece of silverware, that's failure. If I do that in Chelsea, eight years, I leave and don't come back."
Maybe he can, but improving young players on the training ground is only small part of the overall job as Manager. Wenger is foolish for getting involved in mind games with Mourinho, he wont win, but its very good news for us that he is.I know everyone here hates Wenger, but he can coach circles around Mourinho. The only teams Mourinho ever built were built with a checkbook. Biggest douche in football.
LMAO, Just watched this on the bbc site...ouch, that's a low blow Jose
