I thought the reason why twitch was sacked was because he was harrassing Levy for an improved contract while he was grieving over the death of his mum
One of the reasons.

So you decided not to read my post then??!?!
Which part of GOING BY HERE AND COYS do you not understand?
No problem there. Cortese almost sacked Poch in Jan when an under-strength SCBC team crashed out of a cup.Oh i am totally in agreement
But if we were out of the top 10 or got 2 points from first 8 games next season would Cortese be able to bring himself to sack Poch? not so sure

So far we have had completely contradicting ITK regarding whether or not Joe & the gang are looking to sell but all those that have said he is all seem to suggest that Levy will stay, so, in regards to your question... I have no fucking clue how or why Cortese's name has come into the discussion, I am as baffled as you. I'm still very sceptical if this deal will actually happen.Wtf has Cortese got to do with this..
Can anyone summarise the current situation & what's discussed here > 100 pages ?
Is there any solid ITK behind such a huge discussion ? Or is it just the paper talk ?
Didn't Redknapp reject an offer from Levy, at the time when he still thought he'd be the new England boss? That is such a pathetic reason to conconct.
As if there were no contract negotiations at the club that summer because of Levy's personal troubles!
At any company, at any one time, lots of people will be dealing with personal troubles but it doesn't mean that everything gets put on hold for months and months.
Criticise Redknapp for his faults all you like but this sort of crap is absolutely disgusting. He had every right, just like any player, to ask for a new contract when his old one was running down.

A possible takeover is major news, and naturally something people want to discuss. The fact that this thread has reached 100 pages, doesnt mean that most of us are "so sick of ENIC and Levy that we are all so desperate for them to leave and this to happen."Think most of us are so sick of ENIC and Levy that we are all so desperate for them to leave and this to happen.
We are going nowhere currently and for this to change we need new owners with ambition and vision to make THFC what it once was and what it could and should be again.
Hence the 100 + pages.
I can see someone like Joe wanted to sell his shares and get out.
Probably fed up with the team not really getting anywhere and left with a pile of stock thats not worth even half of what we paid for them.
Erm if Lewis was to sell he would make a massive amount of money. The currently price of the shares is meaningless as they aren't listed.
Even so, there are only about 150 posters at most commenting on each forum out of 1000's registered. I would hardly call that a statistically robust sample to draw any conclusions from.
