Tried to get Eto'o & Villa end up with Frazier Campbell & Pav. Sounds like Spurs.

Ramos got us 2 points from 8 games including defeats to Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Portsmouth and Hull. In the next 8 games, with the same players we got 16 points including victories against Liverpool and Man City

He's actually very naïve.

I mean to claim Man City and Chelsea are about the sporting side, and we're about the money side first. Do me a bloody favour.

There is one fundamental principal he clearly doesn't understand: we have to be cute in the transfer market in order to make ourselves more competitive with the teams above us - to give us a chance, its how we make those small gains in attempt to close the gap - which, news flash Juande, we have.

Its the footballing food chain Juande and whilst Levy has clearly made mistakes he's certainly progressed this Club under the very model Ramos is ripping into.

How does he explain the fact that we're punching above our weight? Does he not understand the financial muscle of the Clubs he mentions in comparison to ourselves?

I'm sure he's frustrated with what happened regarding the transfers but all that interview demonstrates to me is a complete lack of understanding in terms of where we are on the Premier League map.

Excellent read and thanks for posting. I can see both sides but Jaunde talks logic. The sale of Berbatov and Keane was a disaster for the club. No doubt about that and Bent and Campbell as replacements - fuck me dead. Where are they now?

Well, I enjoyed that and found it quite insightful.

Classic 'make-do' from Levy with the strikers, but then we all knew that didn't we!?

Levy makes a £17m investment [Bent] but has two better players in the way. They have to remove obstacles so the investment plays.

... is interesting too. Think Lamela; think Townsend; think Levy... The investment plays?

those were the days - with Palacios and Zokora and Jenas and OHara in the midfield. Why did we ever think we were going to win a lot of games?

Great read thanks for posting.

"So we were left with Bent and Campbell. We couldn't beat anyone. We couldn't have scored if we'd used a rainbow as the goalposts."
What a quote :ROFLMAO:, fantastic. However it wasn't so funny a the time.

I don't think he's missed that, look at the comments regarding Modric and Bale in there. Reads to me like the thing he's complaining about is that it was done to a level that was at the expense of the team, and without taking into account the thoughts of the head coach.

Hardly a million miles away from things said by Ramos' predecessor or from AVB.

I found this bit funny:

"[Daniel] Levy had an easy explanation: 'No, the thing is, the coach doesn't get it, the players are hungry, they don't eat,

I just get the image of Thudd driving straight to Mcdonalds after training as a result of being starved by Juande. After all:

"We trained not far from a McDonald's and we'd see them in there eating hamburgers"

I'll be at the Dnipro game (1882 as well) I'll give him a cheer, the c*** did win us a trophy.

Maybe a bit of "Juande give us a wave, Jaunde Juande give us a wave"
