Looks like no one deserves it judging by the standards you lot expect.

Capel said it would be rotated until he makes a decision on his permanant captain. JT's turn, simple as that.

For a manager, he needs to help JT over come his penalty miss, love or hate the guy, you have to give him respect for not only stepping up to take the 5th penalty, but being on the pitch in the first place, as he dislocated his elbow a week before...

Yes he can be an arse, but your only getting the picture from the media, which many of you love to bash as well.

My brother meets JT and the chelsea boys quite often, and said at first he came across as an arrogant tosser, but over the season, he said he is a really decent bloke, always polite, asking him how he is, and that he isn't like it at all, just has that arrogant look I guess.
So him spitting at Tevez was the media playing tricks on us?? Mate, we watch him week in, week out and every game he proves, in some way shape, or form, that he's an arrogant thug tossing twat. Don't say the media shape my opinion of him when I've watched him live season after season. Maybe your brother is the one influencing you??

Our national side is the biggest joke in the world of football and Terry as our captain only excaerbates this.

Rio, as much as I used to hate his guts (more than Terry) has matured heaps over the past 2/3 seasons and deserves a good shot at captaincy based on that merit.

Hargreaves may also have a shot IMO.

I think it should be Rio. He is one of the best CB's in the world this season and he seems to have cut out the lapses in concentration that effected him a few years back. Be interesting to see what reception the racist thug Terry gets at Wembley tonight

It wasnt confirmed that Terry spat...
I do actually believe Rio should be captain, but my point is, that most fans here would cheer their bollocks off if it was terry's winning goal that gave us the world cup.

Terry is a bloody good player and a tough player. Hardly a thug on the way Roy Keane was, or some other players we've seen through the years.
